It's primarily a Marvel movie which has loads of moments to remind you it's a Riami movie. It's probably the most any director has been allowed to point their own stamp on an MCU movie but its still only moments.

The Raimi aspects of the film make it worth a watch for free. The writing and story is dog shit.

This. In particular, Infinity War was nonstop moving, 3 hours and I never got bored or sleepy. MOM was like that, lots of cool little details and it never stopped for some long speech about someone's hurt feelings etc. I didn't even mind the Blacked and the lesbian moms and the wymyn fights. MOM is up there with Infinity War and Winter Soldier, and that's all I care about.

Did anyone else find it a bit weird when Strange forgot about Wanda and started murdering Christines husband and his entire family in every reality for about twenty minutes?

Oh stop. It's not like I paid any money to see it. That camrip going around is incredible quality. And it IS a shitty Disney movie, how are you still shocked by this? But Raimi or the editors/whoever kept it moving, even the woke crap is on the screen and then it's gone. That alone chumps 90% of the movies coming out today, especially all the D+ and Netfux Marvel shows. Raimi at least made it fun and unique.

It's pretty bad. It's going at such a breakneck pace from plot point to plot point that none of the emotional stuff works, there's hardly any creativity present with the multiverse concept, apart from one quick sequence they go to only one other universe and it looks procedurally generated. There's a few evil dead style Raimi flourishes but apart from that it's just inert fanservice and plot obligations from the 3 different things it's a sequel to.

I think the human brain needs to be challenged by art in some way to keep your attention, even if all the heavy lifting is done by the artist. Marvel films claim they've done this but they really haven't. You can't just turn your brain off and enjoy the spectacle, it's not even effective spectacle.

I am a Wanda fan and I didnt like what they did to her in the movie. Her being evil is ok, but killing everyone without hesitation was out of character, even Thanos was less psychotic. And the way she acted in the end was stupid. Overall I am dissapointed with the movie finale.

Krasinski was so boring, he doesn't seem intelligent or interesting at all, but I guess that's what internet fancasting will get you.
