>"ehhh just one more thing"
>"I know how you killed that guy and I have proof of it, you're under arrest"
>criminal now has nothing to lose
>pulls out a gun and shoots Colombo in the head before running away
how come this never happened?

It's especially annoying in Bond movies.

Cops bluff and frame people all the time

>how come this never happened?
Jews don't want the goyim to consider that an option. You're just supposed to put up with their nosy bullshit and surrender your children to horrors not yet imagined.

There's actually multiple episodes where Colombo pretends to be blatantly framing the criminal in an attempt to make them panic and reveal something incriminating.

You're really going to question a show where they named the main character after a city in Sri Lanka?

>now mr Lancaster, you said you were playing games on your PS3 when the crime took place?

It means dove. It's a beautiful name
He often had back up (like your pic rel) or did it with a group of people around.

The deductions and observations he made were inhuman most of the time
>sees a cut on someone’s cheek
>can already tell just by one look that it was caused by someone’s ring

>Yes, I was playing one of the greatest games ever made in fact, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

He often corners criminals with multiple police officers waiting just around the corner
You can tell how new a cut is easily and iirc it wasn just a cut but cut in a specific way like it had a pattern or something
Making an assumption that a new but shallow cut made around the day of the murder on someone's face being from a ring isn't that weird

Many of them respect Columbo or are ashamed when caught
His proof is often pretty weak too. Enough to get them arrested but not necessarily convicted. Columbo makes mention of this once when saying that his job is simply to get an arrest and he does not care what happens afterwards

>Columbo makes mention of this once when saying that his job is simply to get an arrest and he does not care what happens afterwards
you remember which ep?

Come to think of it, I dont

It’s happened. One guy tried to sic his killer dogs on Columbo. Another woman poisoned him (or thought she did).

Now see I'm confused... You say you were "playing" Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, but isn't that, in fact, a movie?

>how come

Possibly episodes where he's more open about knowing they did it and is trying to intimidate them? Like Etude in Black?
In most he pretends he isn't sure until the end, and in those ones he would presumably have no reason to say that out loud

I remember some killers asking him that, why he is confronting them in such a way and he tells them he always has backup for that and there are other cops in range within short notice.

it's not a crime thriller. it's classic mystery detective show. like those british shows where there's a murder but you never see the body, but we do have some tea and biscuits. it's all about being comfy.

That is true for most eps, but sometimes he does tell back up to leave like a sausage brain. For example, the episode with the Sky High IQ Killer.
However, in that ep, the killer actually respects Columbo and is thrilled to meet someone as smart as himself.
Columbo knew something lime this would happen, and was not scared of the man

this show is the definition of 'dont talk to the authorities'
and why is columbo in the algorithm right now

Now detective, you should know better. Metal Gear Solid 4 has many quicktime events during the cutscenes, and one has to be paying rapt attention or miss out. What kind of man would I be if I missed giving Otacon a high five?

Columbo has been streaming on whatever NBC's service is called and got popular with zoomies over the past year

Based

Some YouTube guy keeps making memes about him and it seems like zoomers got curious and are shocked to see that 70s mystery stories weren't completely retarded or bigoted like they were told, but superior to modern writing
Honestly, I'll welcome it. If they're watching and enjoying it and shitting on new TV shows, fine by me.

I really enjoy Columbo, he's so charming.

>Ehhh that's all good, all good ... but uh, Just one more thing...

>Oh and what would that be Lieutenant?

>*Columbo begins shitting uncontrollably*

>HHHHNNNGH OH GAWD MY ASS OH NONONO NO

>*PPPPRRRFT PRRFT PLUB PLUB PLUB PSSSSSHOOOO PLLLB PRRRFT*

>Lt. Columbo, PLEASE! Th-the smell! THE STENCH!

>*PPPFFFFFT PRRT PRRRT PFFFFFTOOOOOOIE PPPRT PRRT*

>Oh my god I *bwwwuk* I, oh god... the stench *bluuuch*

>I do apologize, it's my wife you see she - *PPPPFFFFT PBBBBLH PFFFFFTT PBBL*- she made these uh, now what do you call them *PPPPPFFFT*... uh Enchildas? No, no that's not *PFFFT* it.... Burritos? *PPPPPFFFFL PPPFTTTTFTFTPPPLBL*... ah Tacos that's right

>My god Columbo, I did it, I did it! Just stop shitting all over the floor, I killed him allright! I killed him!

>Just as I thought, now open wide *PBBBBBBBFFFT*

Shit is the funniest substance alive but zoomers have no idea how to use it without going insane. Get out of here you ironic reddit bitch

>this show is the definition of 'dont talk to the authorities'
Yeah, Columbo himself tells everyone he believes to be innocent to shut up and get a lawyer

Columbo also purposely talks like an unaware dumb ass a lot early on so they let their guard down

>criminal now has nothing to lose
>pulls out a gun and shoots Colombo in the head before running away
Do Americacas really?

Yep

did Columbo not realize that arresting someone is simply a matter of charging them with suspicion of a crime?

It's a television show

>"So uhhhhh, Walter white? What exactly do you do?"
I'm a chemistry teacher
>"Oh okay, I should've known you couldn't do it."
Do what?
>"Oh there's some fancy meth going around and we initially thought you were the genius behind it. Well I guess not, you seem pretty average. Anywa-"
ITS EASY TO MAKE THAT METH ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS *proceeds to incriminate himself*

>"Boy you sure are smart Mr.White sorry for doubting your intelligence."
It's fine
>............oh just one more thing, how did you know the color of this fancy meth was blue?
..........

They really do, and it's beautiful

Colombo would simply outwit the bullets, pulling out a receipt from the Mexican bullet factory and how there is a warrant for their recall, ATF and Border Patrol show up and confiscate the gun and bullets and the criminals entire trafficking ring falls apart

His opponents were always affluent white people and not hoodrats.

Moar

The chef tried to poison him too. Also, I remember one where a woman considered shooting him at the end but he mentioned there were police outside and she gave up. I think something similar to that happened a few times actually

holy shit

you win the internet today

It was even more unbelievable in Murder, She Wrote.
She would've had it coming, desu.

that post was funny and you know it

Quality post

>Italian underclass gains a position of authority to destroy the WASP ruling class
When you think of the show as class warfare, you realize that it was a Jewish attack on whites the entire time.

When you don't it's just an enjoyable show

Come to think of it, I don't think any of the killers in the show were black were they?

Italians aren’t white tho

He is a Marty Stue.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is interactive, is it not? Would you call it a video game? My notes here seem to indicate most of the time in "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" is spent watching an elderly man cough.

Take the video game shit to Yea Forums guys.

Now, there's one detail that has been bothering me, you see the store sign mentions that the former owner was a certain Mr. Chuck but I checked with the local chamber of commerce's archives and we couldn't find any permit related to a "Chuck's Seed and Feed" store registered in the area. As a matter of fact, the only establishment related to a "Mr. Chuck" was a very different kind of store! Now my wife, she loves the seeds and feeds, but the kind of store this Mr. Chuck was running, well, I'll have to ask her about that, Mr. Sneed.

>Why didn't they just shoot him!?

This is why if I ever decide to get an lgf I will make sure to take my gun with me on our first meeting.

I will never understand their logic.
>commit crime
>run away or if you're braindead kill the cop who got you
>expect all your problems to disappear
>get shot for scratching your ass when you're inevitably caught
What the fuck do they expect?
I sometimes wish we had mutt cops where I live, had to call them on my ex multiple times for locking me out of my own place because I came back very late from work, fuckers wouldn't even agree to break down my own door, I bet if they were sharts, they would gun down my place from a helicopter because of the deranged whore in it.

If you've committed a crime that will get you life in prison you may as well go out in a blaze of glory and kill as many of the people trying to destroy you as you can instead of meekly submitting to living the rest of your life behind bars.

Just one thing that doesn't add up sir, you claim you were working on the night of the murder but your bank records show you haven't received any salary in the past few months. Now my wife she's always telling me that the department isn't paying me enough and I should ask for a raise but uh what kind of man would work for free, sir?

>well if you're not gonna press any charges, I must ask you to please leave my house and stop harassing me Lieutenant

How about not committing crimes that get you life in prison? Do basketball Americans really?
