there are two paths:

-Kim talking to Lalo and associating with Mike ends with her death or kidnapping by Lalo. She will only die if the scheme ends with Howard's death (cosmic karma). This ending seems unlikely to me because then Gene has absolutely zero unfinished business, and multiple gene episodes are already confirmed

-If she doesn't die she is traumatised by the Lalo intersection and leaves Jimmy.
Gene scenes focus around kimmy/jimmy, either rekindling or redemption
