In the final episode Jimmy is going to put on a wig and pretend to be Kim and Lalo will get confused and have a breakdown, trying to tell everyone he isn't crazy and that Jimmy put on a wig to fool him into thinking he was Kim. The Cartel doesn't buy it and takes away his Cartel badge and disbars him from the world of criminals. Lalo, having lost everything, then sits in a house and knocks over a lamp, starting a fire.

He was probably just thinking about how much social credits he'll get with his peers when he tells them how he reamed out Jimmy when he attempted to socialize with him.

When they sent Kim to Lalo in prison, they completely fucked up
For the writers it was supposed to be a "brave", "strong female" moment where she's not afraid to face a criminal for the sake of Jimmy
But the audience perceived it as a colossal fuckup of hers. She exposed herself and achieved nothing. A massive lapse of judgement that now gives Lalo/the cartel massive leverage over Jimmy

So everything, from the second show off between Kim and Lalo (and Mike applauding Kim from the radio in case the audience didn't notice), to the latest episode (with Mike once again complimenting Kim) is nothing but an extremely desperate attempt by the writers to make up for basically sullying their perfect Mary Sue character with a mistake

They want her to be le perfect at everything and they want (You) to know
