I love S3-4 too but S1-2 had something special.

It's funny how season 2 was so hated at the time, I can see why though, but now if you watch the entire season at once, or at least a couple of episodes at a time then it becomes a much better season, one of my favorites

There have been times when my watching this show has been pure sunk cost fallacy I admit but the recent seasons have been more interesting that some of the past ones. And admittedly the nostalgia for the early seasons and how I felt back in the day watching the new episodes with my college bros keeps me coming back. It’s just one hour a week, I’m here to the end of the line.

Season 2 had the Rick vs Shane plot line which was the best part of the show.
Season 4 had the governor at his best plus all the kino parts where the group was split up like the ep with Daryl and the Girl I liked that ep a lot.
