Leave tv on and fall asleep
Is this Inuyasha? I watched it when it was on but never really got into that show.
I'm sorry you had to be subjected to weeb trash
I remember there was some website in the early 2000's around 2005ish that let you make your own music playlists or listen to others by streaming. It existed before youtube and was really big before being shut down due to copyright. I used to listen to anime playlists ofc, and Fukai Mori was one of my favorites.
There was some quiet shy kid in my history class. I never spoke a word to him, but he was more popular than me despite being fairly unpopular (I had zero friends). One day in 2005 he killed himself, which is when I first really realized he existed.
For some reason this song always brings me back to him. I have no idea why he killed himself. I still think about how he condemned himself to nothingness before all this crazy shit. He has no idea about youtube, facebook, iphones, obama, trump, the MCU, biden, covid, ukraine. He just has been rotting away all these years. And for whatever reason, Fukai Mori brings me back to him.
RIP John, Idk why you had this effect on me
I believe it was my computer once rebooted, standard KDE login sound. Sorry
don't you like that you're never bored with me around?
This was and still is just a weirdly surreal show to me, that blurs the lines of being real and fake. I never watched any part of it when I wasn't extremely tired and not lucid at all plus the grainy resolution of my old CRT at the time made it even worse giving it a weird nostalgic but mystical sort of vibe on top of the foreign subject matter to me with Japanese girls and catboys. I've been tempted to watch it for real but I like the weird memory I have of it
>I still think about how he condemned himself to nothingness before all this crazy shit. He has no idea about youtube, facebook, iphones, obama, trump, the MCU, biden, covid, ukraine.
Well when you put it that way it seems John made the right choice.
It's a pretty well known series and a sequel was introduced recently. In the mid-2000s Inuyasha was the biggest anime in the US after Pokemon, DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh, Gundam, and increasingly Naruto/FMA
bad example of that kind of trope
pic related was a show that I wasn't sure was real until recently.
Do As Infinity is kino. RIP John
He tried his damnedest to prove that puppets weren't just for kids.
What he didn't realize is that puppets are for kids.
the early seasons really do have this vibe, even with better resolution and lucidity. It just hits that right note of nostalgic mysticality. This opening still scene is still absolute kino.
youtube.com
Farscape, who used his company, proved puppets could be for adults.
At least he made you realize you're a huge humungous fagget and you should be very thankful for him but also quite remorseful, that he could never put his pp in ur ass
This show made 11 year old me realize what "filler episodes" were in anime. Its 90% filler. Also wind tunnel hand, bees, and miasma clouds.
Same, only watched this at my weeb friends house when we were both already falling asleep by the time it came on. Kinda wish cable was the zeitgeist again kids now will never know these feels
>Introduce character with OP ability that should solve all conflicts
>Realize you fucked up so introduce a deux ex machina every episode so character can't use his OP ability
What was the point?
>go to sleep
>wake up with these running on a loop
youtube.com
I like reading these kinds of posts. Shows me there's still real people here and it's not just a bot farm. Thanks for sharing. It's good you remember him
youtube.com
Still gives me chills
>The Girls Gone Wild guy is getting metoo'd
Clown world.
>wake up at 4am
>pic related is on
He never have killed hisself if you just suckered his dicks
as we all know the best inuyasha ending is the first one
youtu.be
>doot doot DA DA
still makes me laugh
youtu.be
> site from early 2000s has tons of game and anime music
> remember this one specific song and look for it
> jewtube doesn't have it because of copyright
> song search leads back to that ancient site
> it's still up
I miss the early-mid 2000s anime community
literally every song ever made is on youtube you must be shit at searching for it
was ghost in the shell the show that put you to sleep? i swear i could never finish an episode and i always woke up to that ending theme of inuyasha. granted, im not saying ghost in the shell is bad, it just has this weird soothing/calmness to it like 99% of the time. unless they start shooting or something
Not with jap studios pulling song reuploads more than kikewood does. Just the other day half of my anime song playlist died because the studio got around to killing those westerner's channels. Sooner than later it all gets taken down.
yeah this is a sleepy episode:
youtu.be
I dropped it after they killed off best girl.
Let me be the first one to say Inuyashas daughter is hot
You dont listen to based weeb music. Anime soundtracks are constantly getting copyright struck from youtube and when the studio that had the rights to them finally reuploads it, the title is usually in moon runes and not easy to search for.
Kek it was always funny. Every single time he was ready to bust out the black hole
>bees
>bees everywhere
Probably the same animation clip as well. Pure fucking autism kino
what's the series/track, dummy?
>always fall asleep to ghost in the shell
>consider it comfy, bedtime core
>wake up at 3:00 am one night
>batou is explaining how a deranged exmilitary associate of his is in japan, reenacting a cia psychological operation performed in a south american proxy war wherein agents systematically torture civillians in a public space to discourage resistance groups from organizing
>this guy is going around filming himself skinning whores alive and distributing the snuff films to the black market in a psychotic attempt to stop all wars forever
>kino chase scene through the sewers where batou catches this guy and almost executes him as the music swells with the tension perfectly
>watch the whole series a year later: its still my favorite tv show.
the bit with the Ferris wheel and the industrial stuff glowing in the background amongst the snow hits me because i grew up in an industrial area in a cold climate and remember so many dark evenings passing scenes like that as i went home. now im a NEET and never go anywhere and im nostalgic about something as benign as taking public transit lmao
yeah that's definitely the darkest episode. then i'd say the saddest one is
>weirdo genius guy dies
>turns out his put his ghost into a giant tank he worked on
>he's plowing through the city and they can't stop him
>turns out he's going to his parents house to blow 'em up
youtu.be
Reminder: Sesshomaru's an unironic, literal groomer.
He should have lived, all those shows he missed, all those video games he missed. Gone cause he killed himself.
I've never heard the song "Pillow Talking" by Lil Dickey. Is it good?
That one and the sexbot one have a lot of feels. Where its the lonely rich kid that hacks into a bunch of sex bots and makes them self destruct so that his sexbot is the only one of that model in existence. The themes of nostalgia in that one are absolutely kino.
I miss when anime was an outlier and I could discuss it with a small group of social rejects like me. Now, it’s been co-opted by normalfags and hype beasts that only watch shounen. Now, anime is all over netflix and even my mum has watched it, it isn’t special.
Its to die for
This is cringe, but I do feel bad for all my fellow gamers that an hero'd before they got a chance to play elden ring.
This is the most reddit argument to avoid committing suicide.
>BUT IF YOU DIE NOW YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO CONSOOM PRODUCT IN THE FUTURE!
Comfy thread. Waking up to InuYasha is one of those strange shared experiences everyone has. Is the show actually worth watching? Memories of it fill me with nostalgia, but even as a kid I felt like nothing ever happened/it was all fluff
sad thing is normies make fun of those awkward anime kids now. they completely infiltrated their community and pushed them out by ridiculing them or posting them online to be made fun of. thats when i stopped going to anime cons (around 2009) because it was all normies, plus they dont know how to party and have fun like true autists. i obviously feel for them because i was part of them once. might be different in other countries idk
if it werent for the fillers sure why not. it does its own thing and is mostly a girly anime which is why 99% of women love it. well idk about zoomer girls but back then they all loved it. also does anyone else think sesshomeru is one of the most beautiful anime characters ever made artwise? his design is really cool as well as him as a character imo.
Inuyasha has some great episodes sandwiched deep within a load of boring shit. Unless Inuyasha is depowered, outmatched, or the enemy is invulnerable its not that interesting. A good early example of this is the ghost kid who is trying to kill her little brother because she resents that he was saved from a fire and not her. Great story and satisfying resolution, and the Soul Piper is creepy as fuck
only episodes i remember of this are one with some sort of festival and demons in the real real life world and i remember it being kidnd of comedic, and very vaguely one with a giant purple demon or something and the main charachter is seriously fucked p and almost dies or something
fuck the wolf faggot
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I WANT TO GO BACK AND TRY AGAIN I FUCKED UP MY LIFE TAKE ME BACK PLEEEEAAAAASE IM BEGGING YOU
is it really that good ? or are you just reposting the "popular opinion" ?
Kingdom hearts insider?
the bosses were really lackluster. dark souls 3, bloodborne, and sekiro are better imo. the bosses are what make these games imo and having easy bosses ruins it because abything thats not a boss is easily cleared anyway.
they played up the "character having to deal with an extremely similar character" trope real hard with koga
it's great until the band of seven show up. they're lame villains that just wont go away
I can still hear the english dub VA of the schoolgirl, squealing 'Inuyasha! Inuyasha!'
The episode where the thunder brothers had shippo's father as a pelt... that was messed up
.I think the thing about this that got me even though I didnt watch it THAT much is the pure escapist aspect, the way it shifts between real life and the feudal era or whatever
>Dark souls 3 is better
I will never play elden ring then.
You're confirming what i was fearing about the state of souls games and their communities in the 2020's
>muh boss muh boss muh boss muh boss muh boss
yawn
