Better call Onions!

Wow, did they ever flub this show. 6 seasons of absolutely nothing.
>jimmy turns into saul even though he was slippin jimmy before saul anyways and it’s not shocking to see
>kim has 0 character development for 5 seasons and turns batshit crazy in season 6
>nacho was useless and his death meant nothing
>gus stares menacingly for 3 seasons and this is integral how? We’ve seen breaking bad we get it
>mike not only looks 100, but for some reason peter Gould has directed him to act 100 as well. Grunting and eating sunflower chips?
>literally who cares characters
>literally who cares plots
>the twins, was cringe in breaking bad, even worse now
>Howard the only based character
>chuck could’ve been 1 season

This show is a fucking mess man. What were they thinking? 9 more episodes

So was American Psycho

der hur so wus americun psychor

even better, you have to wait until august for the second half of the season to start!

Based check

that movie is reddit
the book, however, is not

you arent allowed to criticize this show right now. everyone from the subreddit moved here when the season started to hang out in the mod-backed general

(you)

Kim being behind Saul sucks because it's only effective if she's a woman. If they set up some literally who male character since season 1 and then tried to pull the same twist with him, everyone would be rolling their eyes. Because what's the point? We already have Saul. He's already a fan-favorite. Why diminish or undermine him and his resourcefulness and sleazy niche of competence just to have it be some other guy all along? What do you get out of it other than the shock TWEEST? Everyone would say it was shit. But make it a woman and suddenly everyone is like "dayummm a woman was behind saul the whole time woooow". It's only effective in the social cultural meta we have today and stronk empowered females taking the lead and they basically destroyed an established character to set up a literal who feminist servicing retcon. It's shit. SHIT. It doesn't matter how beautifully the show is shot, fundamentally it's the same pozzed crap as everywhere else.

yep
artistic project turned into a clusterfuck of rambling long takes and abstract camera angles
its more fun with the fan schizo theories than the actual show

Even if it gets good in the last 9 episodes that doesn’t make up for the scenes of Kim doing her nails and long shots of mike walking

hehe upvoted

the best hope is that with the limited time table they have to have actual plot and action
my bet is a slow burn till the mid point
then the last 3 of the last 6 episodes being much more involved

praying a nuclear war breaks out before the second half or finale

What's gonna happen to Kim

thats all anyone gives a shit about. cant some fucking extra or set janitor leak it?

want kim to peg me

he’s onto gus

bros will gus make it out alive???????????????????? the suspense is killing me

fuck you vince

>digital trannies

Either Kim or Howard will get relocated by vacuum man. Saul was familiar with the process and cost in BB so it’s safe to assume it will come into play by series end. Initially I was hoping it would be Kim but now I’d much rather see Howard make it out. Those 2 and Lalo are the only characters absent in BB.

Nacho was the worst in terms of development
>aaah Mike help me with Tuco
>aaah Mike help me with Hector
>aaah Mike help me with Gus (threatening his father)
>aaah Mike help me with Lalo
>gets one cool speech
>"OMG HE SHOULD WON AN EMMY!"

She's not behind Saul. She is making Saul weaker

that sums up BB too

she's going to have an african baby

>I’d much rather see Howard make it out.

Only decent character on the show. I don't need characters to be good or moral, but they have to be likeable. Even Walt remained likeable. Howard is the only good character in BCS.

but she's not even African

The first 3 seasons are good. The last few aren't great

>Saul? What are you doing here so early?
>"What the hell? That's - that's my HOUSE! What are YOU doing here? A-and where's Kim?"

as a white/Nordic woman, Kim needs a real man to impregnate her
a BBC is necessary to penetrate her pelvis

Yep. Less cartel shit, great focus on Chuck and Jimmy's relationship, even Mike is more interesting because we see him break bad at long last.

I couldn't agree more. A guy like Saul was always Saul. There was no cancer and God complex that caused him to break bad, it was already in his nature. Yet it's season 6 and he still doesn't feel much like Saul. They've made Kim the real Saul, which again makes no sense because as we've seen time and again I these criminal coupes, the woman ends up going along with things because her man wants her to.

Nacho was entirely unnecessary. Most of the cartel shit has been unnecessary and dumb. There's zero reason for Lalo tohave Jimmy go on a suicide mission to get his bail money when he could've just had Jimmy contact someone to bring it to him.

It's the final season, and Saul has no stakes. There in no pressure on him outside of one of the most retarded things Ive ever seen, where he drops Lalo's name by accident. This is someone who he would have called Guzman 1000x more than Lalo. No one can give me a good reason why they are going after Howard other than, "They want the Sandpiper sooner," even though they both make a ton of money already. And they should be making a ton more if Saul would ever act like Saul and put his skills to good work, scamming and getting into dirty shit and doing illegal shit for his clients. Making Howard the final antagonist is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

All of the cartel shit is horrible. When he's not playing antagonist to Walt, it becomes clear that Gus's character is as 1 dimensional as a Terminator. We're in the final season, four episodes in, and Saul has had less and less screentime, none of it meaningful.

Remember what the took from us.A lighter hearted drama about Saul getting into almonds of chicanery every week. And since it's the past, we could even see him trying to love a double life and keep it together until ultimately he gets to deep in criminal activity which leads directly to him becoming more and more entangled with the cartel. At some point he has to choose between his old life, and his new one.

I wasnt even big on Nacho and was still disapointed when he died. I'll be devastated if Kim dies. I can see a happy ending where they reunite though.

kek

It is shot beautifully though, isn't it?

>filtered by chuck kino

Their whole "we don't know what we're doing" approach to the writing is kind of obvious here. These last three seasons should be Saul slipping deeper into the criminal world, turning even Kim away from him.

The sad thing is, Saul was by far the most likeable character in BrBa, but for some reason they just chose to turn him into a completely different character wo I guess was eventually supposed to turn into Heisenberg. But he's already technically Saul, and he still seems meek and weak. Doesn't help that he looks 80.

xd

Exactly. It would have taken just one scheme gone wrong where her life was put in danger because of her involvement for him to keep her out of his business for her own good. Only that business slowly begins to take over more and more of his life, to the point he's leaving early and coming home late everyday, no off days, and Kim gets sick of it because not only does this leave her lonely, but she got a taste for the con game, and she's just altogether bored now.. That would have been way more interesting.

I don't know how you
>Nacho was entirely unnecessary. Most of the cartel shit has been unnecessary and dumb. There's zero reason for Lalo tohave Jimmy go on a suicide mission to get his bail money when he could've just had Jimmy contact someone to bring it to him.
He literally spiraled Jimmy into the criminal lawyer life and led to Lalos involvement in the operation leading to Saul spiraling further down in his path as a crooked lawyer. Lalo sent him because he doesn't have faith in his own crew which the next episode later confirmed his suspicion as he was set up to get assassinated.
>No one can give me a good reason why they are going after Howard other than, "They want the Sandpiper sooner," even though they both make a ton of money already. How are you this far into the series and all you got from the sandpiper case is "they're in it for the money". They even brought attention to this the last episode.
That's essentially what's happening with this latest episode as everyone in the legal world is looking down on Saul for bailing Lalo out but he's now getting twice the clients because of it.

>he's already technically Saul
BrBa saul is way more forward and comfortable about scheming. BCS hes still noticably anxious about his schemes and they were the means to an end rather than the entire point itself.

Saul in BRBA is essentially acting like that smug stocks guy he and Kim swindled at the bar. Bluetooth headset and everything. Its similar but still noticably different.

So the plot never picked up as everyone promised.
Good to know I dodged this turd.

I'd say the plot is about as eventful as you could expect for a Saul Goodman prequel. When you saw this character on Breaking Bad did you ever imagine that he was doing shit like transporting millions of dollars through the desert while cartel members try to kill him and Mike defends him with a sniper rifle? You could actually argue that they jumped the shark a bit in an attempt to give this show more action and dramatic weight.

Holy shit nobody cares

Cared enough to enter this thread and reply

I could watch 50 more episodes this show, you are braindead.

9 is like heroin fiending.

I would've preferred a more procedural jurisprudent approach rather than action-drama. Like a Law & Order but gets sleazier as Jimmy transforms into Saul.

Yeah? Fuck niggers

>where he drops Lalo's name by accident.
He didn't. He wanted for the police to investigate them.

Jimmy will do the unthinkable. He'll scam Lalo and will get everyone fucked.

The writers aren't that good. I bet they browse POL looking for ideas about how to reshoot the 2nd half of the season

lmao

the implication is that saul has always been that person, in breaking bad we can assume he is tbe same way, and only acting smug when trying to have walt keep retaining his services, he breaks when threatened by walt or jesse in later seasons similar to bcs

>So was American Psycho

Attached: soy.png (811x1049, 218.47K)

you only just now realised that the show is full of 5 minute tooth brushing and coffee brewing scenes?

>Either Kim or Howard will get relocated by vacuum man
Nah, Kim will start working for Clifford Main, dump Jimmy and marry Howard

This is why prequels almost always suck. Even more so when written by talentless hacks.

>>jimmy turns into saul even though he was slippin jimmy before saul anyways and it’s not shocking to see
I'm not really sure what you mean by this. We all knew he was going to become Saul; that's the whole point of the show. He's been a conman his whole life.
>kim has 0 character development for 5 seasons and turns batshit crazy in season 6
She has plenty of character development, but I will agree that her turn to craziness feels kind of abrupt.
>nacho was useless and his death meant nothing
I agree completely. They could have done so much more with this character and there was no reason to draw out his death so much.
>gus stares menacingly for 3 seasons and this is integral how? We’ve seen breaking bad we get it
>mike not only looks 100, but for some reason peter Gould has directed him to act 100 as well. Grunting and eating sunflower chips?
Completely agree. Mike and Gus shouldn't have been in the show at all IMO.
>literally who cares characters
>literally who cares plots
I enjoyed a lot of the new characters and I liked a lot of the plots, mostly when it was Jimmy concocting some sort of scheme, but overall I think a lot of the show could have been done better.
>the twins, was cringe in breaking bad, even worse now
Agreed. The more we see of the twins the less badass they seem. They shouldn't have been in BCS at all.
>Howard the only based character
Absolutely agree.
>chuck could’ve been 1 season
Absolutely disagree. If anything, he should have been in the show more. The show takes a serious nosedive in quality once Michael McKean leaves and he was probably the strongest actor on the show.
