No idea why this is getting slated by reviewers
It’s pretty good

>Magical bear
but yeah im liking it so far
is it a comfy small town rural mystery with good cinematography?
I wish the "main supernatural element" added anything to the show because it's been basically irrelevant so far and completely unneeded.
It’s rural white supernatural kino
nice
is it pozzed? I can tolerate some amount of kikery, but pozzed westerns are unwatchable.
Why is Poots obsessed with the big gaping hole?
Post a torrent link faggot
indian seriff complaining about wypipo trying to rape her was kinda annoying and stupid desu
No blacks but there is a lesbian native american sheriff
Families are white, sheriff is a native american lesbo and a love interest is a latina.
So, considering it's a [current year] series, not particularly pozzed.
>AHHHHHH THERES A HOLE IN MY LAND IM LOSING MY MIIIIND
Just build a fence around it faggot
It’s not really a western. It’s just about rancher families
time traveling amnesiac futureloli mark my words mate
It's really evident so far, when he got the pendant I thought he'd give it to her because loop stuff but nope.
I’m not sure it’s actually her and it’s some time loop.
My theory is that both Royal and Poots are not from this world. But from the other one. Hence why they both can’t remember their childhood.
Maybe they swapped places with their alternate selves
The flash we saw of the other rancher when he was a kid shows him close to the hole and what looks like a shadow version of himself trying to pull him in but he escapes
Maybe royal and Poots didn’t escape
I got an advert for it before AND after a youtube video i watched. fuck that shit its like a desperate show begging me to watch it.
>and what looks like a shadow version of himself trying to pull him in but he escapes
Isn't that just royal when he appeared at the ranch?
They are about the same age after all.
thete is no other world, the hole allows tome travel not psrwllel reality one
This reminds me of Dark but American themed and that's a good thing.
Ah maybe
if it's like dark i might check it out
Just finished severance and need new kino
Is this good?
It's not mystery box retardation, so, sure.
This is the comfiest show I've ever seen.
there are some overarching concepts that are similar in both shows
but they're nothing alike really
dark was really well thought out from start to finish
it is well made, enjoyable overall but the story feels a little lacking so far (especially compared to dark)
there's still 2 episodes left, which are dropping on friday, the writers might redeem themselves
It’s so weird seeing Josh Brolin playing a grandpa but I guess he’s theoretically old enough
I actually like the gay native sheriff. I like how she didn’t just drop everything to investigate that dick heads “disappearance” for less than a day because he happens to be from a wealthy family
brolin's getting old, handsome guy
I’m not sure it is. It’s possible the other world has similar but different stuff e.g.
His counter part dying two years earlier. Them agreeing to the oil drilling on the land. The scientists investigating the hole
Lmao at Brolin playing such a boomer he needed the librarian to google a mining company for him
itt people who havent watched episodes 5 or 6 yet
Did you not watch episode 4? The entire "stealing the pastures" subplot, which essentially set the events in motion, revolves entirely around the supernatural element.
>His counter part dying two years earlier.
There is no counterpart. That's his future. He dies atvsome point, 2 years before the time he jumped to. It's a time travel show. We know the stuff in the hole and the rocks is physical time.
>the other world has similar but different stuff
That scene was several years into the future, user. Not a different world st current time.
It's trash, bro. People dont die from getting punched in the face a few times.
It literally is mystery box retardation.
I feel so bad for billy. He seems like he’s slow but not outright retarded. The kind of middle child you see in a family where they never can accomplish much on their own.
Also his dad is so deeply affected by his encounter with the hole. It feels like billy is the only one who understands somehow. Because he’s too simple to just dismiss him like his wife and other brothers do when he says crazy shit
Yes and the mystery is a big black hole in the ground
He didn’t punch him in the face to kill him. He broke his windpipe by punching his throat in,
Also. People die from a single punch every day
>People dont die from getting punched in the face a few times
People absolutely do.
>dead body is thrown in the hole, he was dead for about an hour before
>10 days later they find the body in the woods
>autopsy says he’s been dead for 10 hours
So time moves faster on the other side?
People die from getting punched once sometimes dude
Not to mention they very heavily emphasize that he broke his larynx when he punched him in the throat
yes, but I can see what the other guy is saying
it felt like a really lame way to set up the story
I think Hollywood has fucked up people’s understanding of how fragile the body is
In real life you can be some badass but 3 random dudes will still kick your ass as a group.
You can’t take a beating and be fine usually.
Hearts can stop from a punch to the chest. A punch to the head can cause brain damage
Being “knocked out” isn’t a real thing. Anything that causes you to lose consciousness for more than a couple seconds will cause brain damage or death
Why is it “lame”?
It’s not even the main story. Just feels like hating on it for no reason. Or worse. Making up a reason that makes no sense
Reviewers saw the entire season and spoiled some stuff. It's quite predictable, autumn being the granddaughter, and brolins character also going in the hole when he was 9, this was obvious because they even said they don't remember anything before age 9 which is when brolin/amy(autumn) both went into the hole. What's surprising is that she grew up in the past and not the future and so she basically grew up naturally and is an adult when her former self is a child in present timeline.
Why you spoil it here then idiot
Ben from Ozark was good casting as Josh Brolins son
i used spoiler tags fucking retarded tourist.
THROW YOUR PROBLEMS IN THE HOLE
This guy was born to play the pitiful fuck-up character he played in ozark and now in outer range. It didn't end up well for him in ozark and it's not ending up well for him here either.
Literally this.
I’d use it as a trash dump.
You’ve got it backwards
Now he needs to play a pitiful fuck up in a movie
>AHHHHHHH THERES A BOTTOMLESS HOLE IN MY LAND IM GOING CRAAAZY
trevor getting killed sets up most of the story
it connects everything basically
felt it was lame
>hey im drunk im gonna say something about ur wife
>hey im angry ill go into a fit of rage and beat the shit out of you
>oops killed u
This dude has mastered the
>I’m intense but also sad. Look at my wet eyes
Style of acting
That happens every fucking day
Where do you live that guys don’t get into fights over someone saying something about a guys wife or mother
Plus they already set up how he was unstable over her vanishing
yep he's perfected it and now will be typecast as the sad intense puppy eyes character who gets the audience to feel sorry for him until he inevitably gets killed.
