Why has it been forgotten already?

Because this is the 3rd time this millennium they had rebooted Batman
I’m considering watching it again because I don’t like to be a hater, but the first time it was boring. Should I give it a second chance or was it actually just dogshit the whole way through?
>go to starbuck's for my morning coffee
>this city's evil and full of wretched villainy, but I can't fix it without succumbing to my demons first
>the patrons are all shocked and surprised to see me out in public as I've become quite the recluse lately
>cashier comments on my eye-liner and tells me that there's a great youtube channel for makeup tips if I want
>mutter that I'm good and order my venti vanilla mocha extra sugar
>she asks for my name
>look at for a second, piercing into her soul with my gritty smoulder
>"I'm Vengeance"
>cashier smiles and tells me it'll be 5 minutes
>wait on the side, brooding with my head low and blasting nirvana on iphone 6s
>"got a vanila mocha for a Vincent S?"
>look up
>awkwardly take my coffee and briskly walk away as the cashier tells me to have a great day
>perhaps I am having an effect on this city, just not the one I expected
ask westerns
it's dark and icky
People are crying about it on this board daily
Rifles are good
This No Batman film is forgotten, not even the Schumacher ones.
It's shit
Because it didn’t do anything different from other Batman movies.
because there's nothing to remember. its a composite film of other film influences. on its own it has nothing necessarily original. mind you i enjoyed this movie because of its excellent aesthetic ambience, its concentration on the mechanics of detective work, and its illustration of rampant corruption. but purely from the angle of artistic merit in terms of narrative, the plot was too dense for a reboot, the dialogue was forgettable, the emotional weight was not very strong because it didn't evolve well. The performances were great but the lines were lackluster, the effects didnt linger, cant remember a single scene or line, except obvious action sequences. Not one line stands out. Also why did Gordon keeping saying "man" lol he looks like a boomer twice batmans age and their acting like bros, felt kinda strange dynamic, like a principle and his student acting like buds, just a little weird, good chemistry however but the lines again were just weak. Riddlers wasnt handled well in my opinion, but i guess thats subjective. Id give it a 7.
Daily reminder that chuds seethe over The Batman because it makes fun of ytey.
It’s the same reason they want you to think Avatar sucks or Watchmen HBO sucks.
is my post and im black, kek debunked you corpses queef
I don’t care you’re black. You can still be a chud or as it’s called in your particular case: an Uncle Tom.
I just hope the next one is better. ie. no political bullshit and better pacing.
>>"got a vanila mocha for a Vincent S?"
In 5 years when they've rebooted Batman again with a new director and actor, they will still be comparing it to Nolan's Batman rather than Snyder's or Reeve's
Nolan's Batman is overrated, what else is new
what? how can i be an uncle if im an only child? also my name is victor you goof
doing Kill them softly with batman was lame
the plot and and dialogue alone shadows the new batman, the dark knight isnt a film that contends with batman films, it competes with the best films to ever screen on cinema
Stopped watching after 20 minutes, literally still wondering why would anyone have any interest in that.
Seethe more chud.
AAAAAAAAAAAAVE MAARRRIIIIAAAAAAAA
>it competes with the best films to ever screen on cinema
That would have to be Batman '89 or Joker.
LMAO
>Seethe
>because a basement dweller projected to me
k lol
>Not being talked about 24/7 two months after it released
>"forgotten already"
Zoomer attention span everyone
woke trash
Because it's a three in a half hour long bore fest. Who fucking cares about Batman anymore when it's been done time and time again? The only reason why these movies survive is because they rake in major $box office$. Avengers was peak superhero. Time to move on.
Batman only existed for 0.7 % of the last millenium and was rebooted dozens of times, not really a great benchmark
What movie is this?
>the dialogue was forgettable
How could you forget lines such as "YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER!" and "The city is dark and scarred... like me"
>dislikes movie most of the world likes
>decides to make thread saying it's forgotten so he can feel validated
>forgets that there are currently four threads talking about the new batman movie
>is retarded
>plot
You mean two hours of everyone running around looking like an idiot while a man dressed as a clown threatens to blow up places?
>dialogue
He's a watchful protector, a silent guardian, a dark knight!
elimniate nuance and eveything beckmes stupid, you learned something today, good for you
Didn't have to eliminate nuance. There was none in the first place.
I wish I could say you learned that today, but sadly you didn't.
Long legs at the box office, insanely popular on HBO MAX and social media, sequel just announced, TV show starts filming next month, 10+ daily threads on Yea Forums....
are you people mentally ill?
i liked it better than nolans
the mutt catgirl was okay
Batman Fatigue
The Riddler did literally nothing wrong.
They’re chuds and in denial so yes.
I wanted to hug Riddler
Because it is boring.
Uh oh…
>Daily threads about it
>youtubers still making videos about it
>friends still mention it when going out
Stop being so disconnected from society man.
>Long car chase
>Huge explosion
>Bad guy trapped under flipped car
>Flames in the background as Batman slowly walks up to the flipped car like Michael Myres
>Looks under the car like a monster finding the kid hiding under the bed
>OH SHIT
>Scene transitions to boring talk scene
What the fuck? I was expecting Batman to reach into the car and drag the guy out, then beat his ass unmerciful. All that great build-up with no payoff. What a waste.
>NOOOOO WHERES MUH HEKIN BEATEMUP
Why didn't they go for an R rating? The movie obviously isn't for children and it would have gone a long way to making it seem like a more violent take on Batman with the serial killings and beatings.
Money. R ratings alienate who can't go to the movies without his two dads holding his hand for parental supervision, so everything has to be PG-13 and under
rarbg
I just watched it, it is terrible. DC really succumbed to wokeness and went full retard. All villains are degraded to incels. I thought Watchmen was just a miss, but they did it so poorly on purpose. Joker was atmospheric but very secondary movie and again full of that sissy bs.
10 or 20 years from now whole thing would be spitted on as opportunistic conformist garbage
How was Joker full of sissy bs? Examples?
>after all that they don't even arrest the penguin, they let off walk off because he gave them a spanish lesson
Bravo Matty
>three in a half hour
Is this a riddle? Ten minutes?
I watched it last night
He was charismaless incel there, not a suave one of the most cool villains and this is just the main thing, whole movie pierced with wokeness, don't play a fool nigga
>Long car chase
>5 minutes
>>youtubers still making videos about it
Dude, this is meaningless. Not even saying the movie is forgotten, but "film" youtube is meaningless most of times unless it's big youtubers. Video essays are mostly echo-chamber freaks.
>not a suave one of the most cool villains and this is just the main thing
Because it's an origin story, retard. The whole Murray scene he starts becoming the flamboyant (almost gay) Joker from the comics.
If you made the movie about a suave man with charisma, the whole story would be completely different. Arthur was supposed to be socially awkward and sickly with mental problems, due to his unfortunate childhood. That's what all builds to the climax where the lack of empathy from society as a whole causes him to violently lash out more and more.
If you wanted more muscled heroes and villains shooting off quips every few minutes, there's plenty of that already out there.
He's flamboyant because that's what he perceived talk show people to be like. He even practiced before he went to the show a little bit in front of his television, practicing shaking hands, sitting down, etc. This fake personality melts off him though when he starts getting increasingly enraged on the show and he struggles to maintain it, until it is completely gone.
