unmitigated gothkino. peak comfy
It's (still) a good-looking film.
I'll take your bet and raise you a Pet Semetary II.
Zoomers will never understand
Nah, no it isnt. Its pretty up there tho.
It doesnt reach the EXTREME cringe factor well.
This on the other hand...
TIIIIIIIIIMMMEEE TO TAKE HER HOME HER DIZZY HEAD IS CONSCIENCE LADEN
Great movie with a good message as well.
Was Detroit that bad back in the 90s? Is it still bad?
whats the message?
What I took from it?
Can't rain all the time.
Pain and how it affects people for better or for worse
Childhood's over the moment you know you're gonna die.
"“Mother Is The Name For God On The Lips And Hearts Of All Children.”
""Buildings Burn, People Die, But Real Love Is Forever"
Also Be careful with prop guns.
Unironically love this one
This is the most 90s movie in existence.
Not really. It could easily have been made in the late 80s. There are way more "90s"-esque flicks, pic related
You forgot:
>>There ain't no comin' back
>>KAW KAW, BANG, FUCK I'M DEAD!
>>FIREITUPFIREITUPFIREITUPFIREITUP
I wonder what's under that skirt hehe
Great soundtrack and score too
I have a issue with this: Fucking love the crow. Me and my girl watched it on the cinema back then, we bought the soundtrack, we learned about the cure and other bands on the OST. It become pivotal on our relationship... but then, two years later, she died in a car crash. Now everything related to the crow is increible painful to me, even if I love the movie, can't enjoy it anymore.
Misery is wasted on the miserable.
Detroit IRL has more niggers so it’s worst.
blocks path
its this and its not even that close. Tarantino written, great dialog, for those who may have yet to see it.
once robocop was decomissioned it went to hell
There are parts of Detroit where it's legal to run red lights because if you don't you're gonna get killed. Of course I don't mean that law is on the books, just that cops won't do anything about it because like I said, you're just trying to survive.
Still baffles me how the most powerful country on the planet can let one of it's cities to go waste like that.
porridge was just never the same for a while
The Crow and Scarface changed wrestling forever
Say goodbye to the bad guy. RIP
Wrong. The correct answer is White Men Can't Jump.
its up there, but its also a really bad movie.
it's fucking great and endless copied
is that a heckin Yea Forums chud disliking a non-sci-fi film with black people in it?
you betcha!!!
epic coincidence!!
if by bad you mean awesome, then yes
>you will never have a next door neighbour who shyly flashes you out her window
Watch this movie all the time. I can quote it verbatim. Which doesn't get panties wet, but it should.
>"You got a Benz, I got a busket. Give me a dollar."
death machine too
You guys have your version of the 90s, I have mine.
wrong
goth wasnt that big in the 90s, even grunge is over remembered since most teenagers were listening to hootie dave matthews band and hanson.
thats why it was called "alternative"
go update your livejournal.
universal soldier was the last good thing peak dolph was in, most of his 90s is direct to video
most early 90's movie
idk why but ive found this film quite nice to fall asleep to a few times
>most teenagers were listening to hootie dave matthews band and hanson
no, no they weren't
>"I am the new way to go"
>"I am the way of the future"
>"I am the new way to go"
>"I am the way of the future"
>"There's a lot innocent people being crucified"

The Crow is one of the only movies I know that all the villains/scum characters enjoyable in it.
They are all so great. Yes you want The Crow to get his revenge on them, but you also love seeing their presence on screen.
-sent from my carrier crow
>goth wasnt that big in the 90s,
It was real big from '92 until '94 when Cobain killed himself and bands like AiC and Soundgarden slowly disintegrated or split.
I was 13 in 1993 and into grunge. if you went to a school dance its not like they were playing soundgarden or alice in chain it was mostly r&b
It was popular for a time but so was garth brooks
Im literally the crow
t. the guy that used to claim he was the inspiration for the crow on youtube before he likely got cease and disisted
Whenever I think about the 90s I think about Batman Forever.
Either that or a an intro to a teen horror mystery series with lots of blue light foggy rooms and glamour shots of the actors while a alt-rock song plays on the background.
>be me
>see Batman Returns
>holy kino my man!
>batman forever comes out in theatres
>boring as frick
>kiss from a rose is cringe adult shit
>poison ivy is some sexy whore that will never fuck 7 year old me who cares
>jim carreys the riddler was alright
>mr freeze boring as frick
frick batman forever,
>>kiss from a rose is cringe adult shit
dude I fucking love prince, but Kiss from a Rose is milles better than Bat Dance. Also, the closing credits theme of Batman forever was Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, not Kiss from a Rose.
I remember hearing kiss from a rose
but my memory is distorted
as you can see I mentioned mr freeze but thats probably from batman and robin
rock based subcultures were always bigger in europe.
Youre turbotarded
They should do a sequel where they are all old and out of jail and try to do a new tour
Surfer Dude sting was better than Crow sting
I mean, is on the closing credits, but after Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me which is the theme that start to sound as soon as the movie ends.
For a commercial reason both Schumacher movies had a strong rock song, U2 on Forever and Smashing Pumpkins on Batman & Robin tied to a boring pop ballad like Kiss from a Rose or Foolish Games. 90s was a time when all big movies had a ballad, Prince compose Arms of Orion with Sheena Easton for the first film but was overshadowed by the cringe Batdance.
Both are cool.
>James o’ Barr made the crow to deal with his GF (wife?) death
>it became his only popular comic and now 40 years later he still has to be reminded of it
Oh well he probably got a lot of money for it
They didn't play eurodance where your from?
Personally prefer the 2nd Crow but 1 still kino
Something is wrong with you bro.
Like its okay if you like a shittier sequel, but liking it BETTER?
I worked with O'Barr, he is a chill guy, he is not looking to be remembered as a comic super-star or have a lot of works, if you see his bibliography, he is mostly a cover/pin-up artist with some anthology stories and one-shots. He is grateful that people love the crow, that's why he keep doing regular stuff related to the character.
