I've yet to see it not happen to a commentary youtuber. You're right, when ethan was just making fun of retards making cringe videos on youtube he was pretty funny. Thing is with any kind of review or commentary youtubers eventually people realise there's not much more to them than their critical point of view. It gets boring pretty quickly if you can't bring new things to the table and you just keep having to have an opinion on everything as a means to create content.

Also a lot of them start chipping in on inane youtube drama because it's easy to make quick content yet gets lots of views on it. Downside is that you're pretty much selling out by doing so. Since any respectable viewer doesn't really give a shit about logan paul or ricegum. At least Idubbbz was funny about it and didn't really place himself above everyone.

Roe vs. Wade was essentially a series of 5 decisions the Supreme Court handed down decades ago, all somehow decided by the minority of the bench and it's basically 100% agreed consensus by both conservative and liberal people with a modicum of education that it was bad law. It's essentially a series of misrepresentations of some Amendments and also inventing "rights" out of thin air that don't exist in the Constitution, which allowed the Court to rule that abortion was a "right" and thus States have no ability to ban them or criminalize them.

Overturning it is good law, in that it correctly understands that without an Amendment or Bill signed into law, there is no such right or guarantee in the Constitution for the government to protect abortion federally. Instead, it is relegated to the choice of the States, as are all powers not specifically enumerated for the Federal government in the Constitution.

So the answer is, no abortion is not illegal now, and no one has lost any rights.
