Will it be capable to admitting it or go into full denial mode?
I'm thinking the latter.

if its good its good, people hating on nutrek arent braindead, its legit cw level writing. more likely itll fail cus general audiences just want highly produced white noise.
Episodic means it's 100% better than Picard/STD. Everything else is still up in the air.
If this turns out to be good and it gets high ratings then CBS should be able to understand why STD and Picard are hated.
They always learn the wrong lesson. If it gets high ratings, the only conclusion CBS will draw is WHITE MAN GOOD.
i won't care
i don't watch tv
I'm sad that you are correct.
You don't have to use a TV to watch it. I use my tablet or PC monitor.
i don't do that either
So you came to this thread, on a board called Yea Forums to announce that you don't like biological women? Weird flex.
You have 59 seconds to name a bad Anson Mount performance. You can't. He should still be Black Bolt.
Stop trusting these articles and the reviewers. How have you not learned by now?
Aren't they bringing him back for Dr. Strange 2?
The only ones praising Picard were the ones who saw the first episode and fell for the fleet bullshit. Screeners for the first five of SNW confirm it's episodic and not doing any time travel/parallel reality/galaxy-saving bullshit.
Could they still fuck it up? Yeah. But at this point just getting the basics right would be a massive accomplishment.
They also confirm a lot of "political allegory", Jan 6th footage, and here's your new Robert April.
pretty sure CW is better than NuTrek, it's really that bad
Yeah, cause Picard didn't teach them that?
He's not even listed in the main cast, April is a nothing character and barely anyone even remembers him from TOS. It's going to be like Dune where everyone lost their shit over Liet-Kynes being recast and then forgot about it.
it's going to be the Orville with a bit of hamfisted current politics shit. probably have some RvW shit in the last 5 episodes.
I was going to give it a shot until I read about current year bullshit in it. If it's actually good and not completely hamfisted I'll probably give a chance but I won't be wasting my time until I know for sure
Same. I gave up on Orville after the gay niggers from outer space.
>and then forgot about it.
I'm not buying the new Dune video game because the dev was cunty about that change.
>until I read about current year bullshit in it
Please share.
Never bothered with this flick.
In what way? Was he for or against it? I'm guessing for since he made the Fremen leader look exactly like her.
For it. It wasn't for the fact they were for it, they just actually think they're a better person than others because they like the change.
I thought the problem with nu-trek wasn't the format, but the themes.
It's not going to be.
I wish it was but you have to be a fucking retard at this point to think so.
>No Ordos
Boooo
I heard Spice Wars was good so I'll still play it but I probably won't play the Fremen anyway so w/e.
>I thought the problem with nu-trek wasn't the format, but the themes.
It's both, but the poz and disregard for existing characters/canon are the biggest issues. Making it into episodic pozzed trash will not help all that much. The fact is, they just don't care about making things that fans will enjoy anymore. It's just a bully pulpit.
Based. They should've added House Ordos with an Asian waifu as a leader for me to romance. Instead they added smugglers and the dude looks exactly like Atreides guy (I'm assuming Leto).
>same directors
>same writers
>expecting better Star Trek
Lmao. It’s going to be hot trash.
Haha they're so fucking bad at their jobs.
I think it was a variety or indiewire review, the link was on an earlier thread. I forget which.
either way considering NuTrek's record and reviewers absolute dishonesty, it's a wait and see for me
yup that was it for me too.
100 to 1 odds its good
just need about 95 more trys and i think they can get it
>parroting the same article ad nauseum
Not the same writers, unlike you I looked it up.

Aren't people sick to fucking death of the same OT era they keep being stuck in forever? Ironic that "to boldly go where no one has gone before" has turned into going where they've gone before many times over and fucking over.
He's posting a fake article. It only appears on one site.
you think I don't want good star trek? if they made good star trek and it acutally became popular they might be forced to continue making it instead of shitting it up
should have made javier bardem the leader of fremen in game
What are you talking about, STD went to the 31st century, PIC takes place post-VOY and they're both dogshit.
But in the case of SNW, not like Star Wars where they keep going back to Tatooine, going back to the same time period doesn't mean going back to the same places.
If anything, they should go back to the TMP era that was only ever explored in the movies.
If reviewers like it, I actually dont have high hopes. If reviewers hated it, calling it things like racist, misogynistic, a tv show better left in the past, etc. Then atleast I know we would be getting some good classic trek.
You''ll have to forgive me for being sceptical Star Trek reviews after getting 6 seasons of complete and utter garbage that's been certified fresh.
It really has reached that point, hasn't it?
Yeah so fake retard. Let me guess I’m a Russian bot too. Hardly parroting it either since it’s the FIRST TIME I’ve ever posted it. Neck yourself.
superherohype.com
>It really has reached that point, hasn't it?
Yep. But so far the reviewers aren't talking about it being 'brave' or promoting "strong female characters" so that's already a good sign for me. They also said Pike is portrayed with charisma and competence.
>literally the same no-name site over and over
Might as well post a Bounding Into Comics article.
>Boldly led by the chrasmatic Sonequa Martin-Green
>cleans up the problematic storylines of trek past
Jesus Christ, who writes those descriptions?
Fake and gay. Not being posted on any other outlet.
>They also said Pike is portrayed with charisma and competence.
Maybe Im being a pessimist but I interpret this as him being "quippy"
>They also said Pike is portrayed with charisma and competence.
In today's speak that might just mean he obediently takes the knee and defers to females. They might just mean he's being a beta cuck.
THE REAL FIRST CAPTAIN
Maybe. But I prefer him being described positively than "needing to learn a thing or two from his crew about how to be an effective captain". Or just straight up being a villain like Lorca.
Everyone's calling him the backbone of the show.
It's rated TV-MA which means it's going to be dark and gritty no matter how fun and optimistic the marketing is trying to make it seem. Apparently multiple characters have severe childhood trauma and the writers are the same as the other nuTrek shows. It might be adequate, but there's no possible way it's going to be good.
Doctor Who
See Judging by the snow, looks like he's just there for the scene where Pike gets recruited to take over the Enterprise.
I was more upset they didn't give her the 'Can't die yet... still work to do...' line
>It's rated TV-MA which means it's going to be dark and gritty
There were some scenes with Pike fucking a bitch so it might be that. So far no one is calling it dark or gritty and the first five episodes have already been early screened.
Wow it's almost like people want to watch shows with charismatic and good lead actors.
If its good it will most likely get cancelled as usual
Episodic will give it a chance to have some watchable episodes, which will mean faggots on Reddit will harp about it for the next fucking decade
NuTrekkers love the CW for a reason
>mark pedowitz
that can't be a real name
That probably make sense. Maybe it won't be as violent as the other series, but can probably expect the same amount language and sexuality sprinkled here and there. Is it really so hard for them to make a series that families could watch together like the old shows?
Half the problem is they keep dumping seasons before getting any viewer feedback and then surprise pikachu it flops. Episodic shows at least get the chance to save face unless they pump out three seasons without seeing how the first one does.
You didn't like Michael "Cry About Everything" Burnham?
>reverse image search
>its a comedy parody or a parody sex film
Fuck I wish that was real, they really nail the characters.
>Mark Pedowitz
A Jew chomo - it's right there in the name, and the eyes.
I am happy this makes you sad. White man is always good.
Eh Anson was the best thing about STD and everyone's been clamoring for a show with just him as captain so I'm not going to say I don't want this now.
Literally all they have to do is just have more of him, this time with Michael Burnham.
