I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE SQUID GAMES

Attached: C-squid-game-netflix.jpg (1200x800, 43.94K)

what show are you talking about?

No you just experienced zoomer adhd.

What happened to that porno parody?

??? Who I remember, all of them had projects lined up, and they were talking about how that could slow down season 2.

Good. Fuck this and fuck shills. Never seen it and never will

Netflix is filled with terrible Korean shows now, lol. The only gold one is squid game. I tried watching some others and they all are trash

Fpbp lol

>Never seen it and never will
oh but you will my little friend, you will

It's alright, but over-hyped. They likely searched for similar shows and found the concept had been done before better, even by the Koreans

Why would people be googling it?

never seen the show but I played Crab Game on steam and jerked off to that girl's nudes

hype and viewer count comes before and during a show, retard, not 6 months after it. normal people are not autistic virgins who talk about the same fucking show for half a year.

this was the HUGE hit of 2021
people already forgot?
people still talk about x-files and twin peaks to this dat

i never understood why they called asians "bug people" before seeing her face.

its basically the same with cinema too though. I think I can name like 2 Korean films I've actually liked, and really I just keep watching that scene in Parasite where the dude gets a rock dropped on his head over and over again.

it just means you have shit tastes though

Maybe call it Game of Squids for more ratings?

ALL OF US ARE DEAD is the superior kino.

They look and behave like insects. It’s quite funny.

Korea has so many good movies, no idea what you're talking about.

I'm surprised it's hardly ever mentioned. Haven't had that much fun with a show in forever. Japan wishes they could've made something like that, considering all their zombie-high-school shit.

weebs were in 'squid game' mode over All of us are Dead too, basically entering every thread to say it was a rip-off of a random manga no one has ever heard of

sure dude...

if only bug people could act... all they do is copy anime tropes and overact in a way even shatner thinks it's too much.

They'd probably be right, there's no shortage of weeb plots similar, but Japan is dogshit at making good shows. Weebs are just mad others are doing it better. I don't even wanna imagine what All of us are Dead would look like is Japan made it.

retards alert, stick to capeshit and let the adults talk please

Japan are remaking Korean movies/tv shows too though
For example they remade Signal, except shit.

okay, shut up then.

(OP)
>why don't people keep discussing thing with nothing new to talk about? wtf
Wow, I guess the only recent show with actual organic discussion on Yea Forums was Arcane. Thanks for making me see the light, OP

Mr Sunshine is incredible.

i genuinely wanted to get behind this logic where something relevant need to stay on the top just because the same person that already saw the movie googles it multiple times... And also bought the same copy of DVD/Blu-ray multiple times... But I can't. That makes me sad

>Signal
Never heard of it.
That's some chad looking jap on the right, by the way.

Squid Games was basically a high fantasy--people really only cared about the plot. Compared to something like Twin Peaks and Arcane, there's nothing to prolong discussion. And that's fine. No need to be confused or butthurt that it was a popular fad.

They didn't forgot, that's why they didn't google it. (?)

What's so good about it? Reading the premise sounds like a typical romance drama but with a period setting.

Romance is only a small part of it. It's a very well made period drama (albeit historically inaccurate in some places but most period pieces are). Lots of political themes and intrigue also. Definitely isn't a typical romance. Has some nice platonic relationships in there too (between the three main male characters especially).

I watched it after the hype died down because I'm a contrarian, I won't watch something while it's popular. But anyway, it's actually pretty good. A little slow paced though.

I want to fuck asian women

I guess I'll check it out, thanks.

Nothing really has staying power these days. The TV & Film landscape is too fragmented and ephemeral.

Not him but I wouldn't advise watching Mr. Sunshine since it has that korean tv over-edited, over-stylized melodramatic direction that really gets on your nerves.
On Netflix, I would probably watch pic related, it's wageslave kino.

Normies live in the moment and don't remember what they had for breakfast yesterday.

The korean version of Suits is aight

This.

we had Dr. Brain this year too, by one of the best korean director alive, and it was cosmically kinoïc.

ALL OF US ARE DEAD is fucking fantastic.
Still need to finish it.
It should've blown up just as much as squid game.
Such a cool over the top zombie-thriller.

That acting style isn't from anime, it's from theatre/radio acting which anime acting was also derived from.
But I also haven't seen any Korean shows with overacting like that.
I have seen plenty of Japanese ones though.

I’ve never seen such a blatant shill campaign as the one for this show. As far as Netflix content goes its one of the very few solid ones but this shit really came and went. That overnight success crashed so hard

I wanted to fuck the shit out of the Na Yeon actress in this show and in Squid game without knowing they were the actress

season 2 release date: end of 2024
come back then retard
Netflix might not even exist by that time

Squid games was on-par with FNAF or other wildly popular horror games.
The plays on roblox Squid Games levels were easily in the hundreds of millions.

I love that you work so hard to keep us talking about it

I prefer crab game

>if X isn't constantly brought up 6 months later then it was actually never popular/organic
Retards that think this way need to be gassed.

It's good for 90% of the series but the last couple of episodes drop the ball really hard out of nowhere. It's like the writers were hitting checklists without thinking about how dumb the scenarios looked.

nah, if Twin Peaks could've been marathoned in a weekend it would have never have had the rep it has. That was built up 'at the water cooler' as they say, week by week.

>the panty stream incident

>NOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FORGET AND MOVE ON

the absolute state

it's because entertainment coming out is oversaturated. There is no time to fully take something in because hundreds of other shows or movies are coming out. Arcane and Squid were probably the best mainstream things to come out last year and yet nobody talks about them. They simple move on to the next thing because they are a bunch of crack addict tik tokking retards.

Would’ve been better if it was like 4 episodes shorter.

All of Us are Dead and Hellbound were pretty good. Hellbound was directed by the guy behind Train to Busan

I've watched a bunch of Korean shows and Extra Curricular is easily the best, far better than squid game.
