Is everybody in Gotham facial blind or something? Does nobody recognize that the bottom half of his face looks exactly like Bruce Wayne's? And even if nobody noticed that, does facial recognition software not exist? Somebody would have gotten a picture of Batman somehow and run it through a program to find out who's face it is under the cowl.

This film is basically a comedy. The way he would just stand around awkwardly out of place during the crime scenes was so funny. At the end when he's helping people out of the water, he helps two then just awkwardly gives up and walks away (to "lead" them out of the water). not to mention the cringe ass final monologue

I also thought he came across as incredibly awkward throughout. I have never really been able to suspend my disbelief in realtion to Batman. The whole concept has always felt silly to me; and this film was no exception.

it was always a little silly if you think about it but a good director/writer knows how to not make it awkward. Have batman sneak his way into the crime scene after everyone has left, for example. Not having him stand around like an idiot the way this movie does. "commissioner gordon said it's my turn to investigate the crime scene guys, excuse me"

Agree with the water part but him standing and walking around awkwardly made sense in the context of the film. He had cameras in his eyes and he was trying to record as much of the crime scene as possible.
