Yeah, yeah, something like that.

That image says to me that they replace her with Talinn who promptly gets the rocket blown up but it's ok Renee will just take the next one and complete her mission.

And Thursday is also the premier of the new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, also on The Plus:

> SNW S01E01 "Strange New Worlds" - When one of Pike’s officers goes missing while on a secret mission for Starfleet, Pike has to come out of self-imposed exile. He must navigate how to rescue his officer, while struggling with what to do with the vision of the future he’s been given.

Judy is kinda hot. Moar?

What makes Lower Decks so awesome? I love it so much. I can't stand TNG. It's boring. I'm sorry.

Goes to show that everyone is capable of redemption (except Nick Locarno)

Judy would never wear facemask.

Thats just a chin diaper

170/140 must have taken its toll.

And the since this is premier week, the review embargo has lifted for Strange New Worlds. Strong reviews overall, praising the episodic show for it's interesting characters, settings and action filled sense of adventure. Looks like another hit for New Trek.

Cool beans

I can't believe what they've FUCKING done to Robert April in SNW more RIDICULOUS lore RAPE from that clueless virtue signaller Kurtzman the fans need to start a letter writing campaign to oust him I'm SICK of them PISSING all over canon look what they've done they've made him a FUCKING ADMIRAL when he should be a COMMODORE

NL

They fixed the combadge.

What do Commodores do in Star Trek?

Is anyone really even angry that they made him black or is this just Twitter tards getting defensive for no reason so they can look hip speaking out against nothing at all?

Was anyone even really THAT upset about Janeway or Sisko back in the day?

Attached: file.png (605x1135, 432.32K)

Fucker, go on Twitter and yell "NL" at them for casting a Black to play a white character.

Yeah they absolutely were in the same way it is today; a vocal minority of flyover right wingers bitching about "political correctness" as they called it in the 90's.

I'm watching DS9 for the first time and haven't been paying attention. There is a bizarre sex scene with jake and an old bald woman with a fivehead.

We were children and there was no /pol/

>1998 post

> I was embarassed by his crackup
>scene and the lame way that they framed it into the DS9 storyline. As
>the old saying goes: "If you want to send a message, call Western
>Union."

Maybe you ought to do the same and leave us from having to read your
waste-of-bandwidth garbage! His pivotal scene in the office was tremendous.
He'd played in a very understated, almost meek way from the start, while
slowly, hints of hints of his rising tension came out over the hour. It was
truly jarring when he finally snapped and couldn't take all the humiliations
he'd suffered any longer! He could have hammed it up Shatner-style, but
didn't. Instead he relased his pent-up rage and then broke down sobbing in a
very realisitc, and moving, fashion.

Was Patrick Stewart overacting in "Chain of Command" when Picard reached his
breaking point and "cracked up" also? Both scenes were handled extraordinarily
well, but you'd probably say Stewart wasn't overacting and Brooks was because
you, like too many others, still can't accept a Black man as the captain and
series lead. I apologize if I'm putting words in your mouth, but it's the only
explanation I can give for people like you, and the (thankfully) small handful
of others, who inexplicably detested this wonderful little episode of Trek, and
who also seem to delight and taking nasty potshots at Avery Brooks. Is your
obvious contempt for both this episode with a message and the actor who starred
in and directed it merely cruel irony? I don't think so.

Why does that actor playing Capt Robert April make you so angry?

TAS is not canon. Robert April is a SNW character.

that would be funny af
but I will wait elon's rule to be on

>whoosh

Attached: muse-188.jpg (900x680, 469.7K)

> Gia Sandhu as T’Pring of the Paramount+ original series STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS

T'Pring is a cute!

Attached: snw-101-preview-10.jpg (1280x853, 504K)

Just say why that casting make you so mad. Say it out loud.

Attached: 1650805923670.jpg (1024x577, 88.01K)

It's not making me mad; it's more of a "it's all so tiresome thing". Robert April has been portrayed as a white man in non-canon material. While theoretically it is okay to change his race, it just goes to show they're driven by an agenda.
And this agenda dictates that the first ever captain of the starship "USS Enterprise" is to be a Black man.

I'm not mad about the casting.
I'm not mad at all.
Why are you so desperate to shitpost about black people. Just say what you mean you coward.

New shuttle.

Attached: snw-101-preview-02.jpg (1500x625, 144.07K)

Judith, explain yourself right now

Colorblind casting is okay.

Made for each other.
Soulmates.
T’hy’la.

Attached: Mariner and Boimler.jpg (1008x1008, 223.71K)

Boim has the potential but he is taking too long, theres a threshold of patience and please denial, blue meanie will take over, simple as

"Make use of time, let not advantage slip;
Beauty within itself should not be wasted:
Fair flowers that are not gather'd in their prime
Rot and consume themselves in little time."

Attached: picard shakespeare.jpg (600x600, 67.91K)

Adrian Holmes is an award winning actor with over 100 credits and should make a fine Capt April. And he's Canadian, so he helps with the Canadian Content requirements for a series filming up North.

He's a great choice for the role.

the underated pairing

I have never watched any Star Trek anything.
Do you just start with the original series?
