JAFFA! KREE!
JAFFA! KREE!
GOOLD?
now that the dust has settled, why didnt sam and jack smash?
Some military code restricting personal relationship
I dunno I aint American I dont know their rules especially in the 90's
They did in most parallel universes (except in moebius where Sam is very surprised to learn that in the prime time-line she's into Jack because she has the hots for Daniel). There's even an episode where they get married.
In the main time-line they never do because muh military regulation, can't fuck people in your own chain of command. Also the writers knew "will they won't they" is a lot more entertaining than "yup they did"
indeed
GIVE ME A CIGARETTE
It’s kind of okay they didn’t.
Amanda Tapping aged like fine wine and RDA became grey and bloated.
Would have looked like an odd couple.
they learned from X Files that sexual tension sells better than any actual romantic payoff
based goold poster
actually in moebius she lied about being into daniel
RDA aint doing so bad anymore, looks like he lost a lot of that weight he put on.
She did? I need to re-watch it
Underrated
was it autism?
Based Goold poster
>Agent Mulder, are you saying that the CSM is an Ori Prior?
Caldwell, Carter and Dr Cute were all on the X files.
Mulder's sister played an Ancient in SGA.
Oof. She hit the iris hard.
>New show announced
>Daily Stargate threads
You're ruining the magic, shill
>Dr Cute
GANGRAPED BY INVISIBLE OLD MEN AIDED BY NATIVE AMERICAN MUSHROOMS FROM THE JANITOR
It's GHOUL'D.
It was always Ghoul'd.
He looks a lot better now. Especially for a 70 something years old.
wtf you on about? They were married in one timeline
mega based
so was Kynthia
pusy
What's up with all the Gate kino recently? Been seeing a lot of it pop up on youtube too
Current Sci-fi and fantasy is in the pits, so people are going back to watching older shows that have soul
Farscape chads win again
Based Hammond of Texas
>when she's looking for your dick
>Of course there are no side effects
You, the based one with the crown of marble.
This should have happened at the beginning of every episode
Why would you explode those weird mushroom guys?
That's the most Air-Force thing that they ever did across ten seasons.
that was probably the weirdest episode in the entire show
yeah because that was nerd carter and she didnt think a military guy would be into her so she said she is into daniel, later told jack it was just so she could try to get to know him better before doing anything, jack thought daniel was gay lol.
*autistic screeching*
It's like a money saving episode I guess. At least it wasn't clip show tier bad.
i wouldnt even call it a bad episode, it was sort of interesting seeing them try to make sense of the aliens but it was just damn strange.
Not bad but obviously cheap. I kinda like episodes like this because they show that you can actually make a decent episode with little money. It's not about sets, effects and other expensive stuff. The story, weird as it is, itself is actually not bad and that is good enough.
I never skip episodes like this but I will always skip clip show episodes. Fuck that shit.
Thanks for reading my blog. pls like and subscribe
It's one of my secret favorites. On the surface, it's like a bad Star Trek episode but it's kind of interesting to see how we in the modern day would deal with a Star trek problem. It and other episodes did a hell of a lot better job of showing humanity's fledgling steps into the stars than Enterprise did. Plus the banter is great, especially when O'neil and have that one argument.
Mushroom people, Message in a bottle and similar episodes are proper sci-fi, exploring not just new worlds but new ideas. Obviously you need a few action oriented stories and pew pew battles but they need to be spaced out. The problem with new shows is all spectacle all the time, always high stakes saving the world shit gets really tiresome quickly. I like SG-1 because it was mainly episodic but would keep the main Goold storyline ticking over every now and again before the big season finales.
Has anybody made cuts of of the clip show episodes where it's just the non-clip bits? Or is there nothing of substance worth watching at all in them? I seem to remember them being about international diplomacy outside of the clips
>bloody bastard bichodd
Stargate throws the viewers a bone by having major developments happen in the present-day scenes of clip shows, so there's at least some reason to watch it unlike shades of grey. On a first-time viewing, Like how Kinsey shuts down the Stargate program in one and international disclosure happens in the other, (not to mention humanity getting sweet Asgard tech.) I'd never recommend somebody skip on a first-time viewing but you can probably piece together the scenes that aren't recycled on youtube. Off the top of my head, there aren't more than two anyway.
I was thinking about comparing it with Trek too but I didn't want to compare it really bad Trek. It's not really bad. Just cheap and enjoyable.
Indeed. This is what makes SG great. I don't even watch newer stuff (like nutrek) because of the over the top production and always high stakes stuff. It's boring and annoying.
I think they hired a mime troupe to play the shroom dudes, love their little mannerisms desu, especially when Jack and Daniel are shouting at each other.
He transferred his boomer curse to Daniel.
Daniel got JACKED
so any update on amazon's stargate series?
They will nutrek it.
>It's simple. We uh... eat the Goold.
