Dumbass, it's just basic archaeology. When you die, your retinas and eyeball nerves stay stuck on the last few seconds you see before you die. If a body is well preserved enough, you can play back the footage but it's super sensitive. If you're eyes are open when you die sunlight will fuck it all up.
