I watched it. It’s an immediate cliff drop from S2. First episode and already fucking wrote themselves into a corner. I will watch tonight to see what they pull out of their ass but probably will stop until the whole season is out so I can bake my self and push through it in one sitting

Watched the first episode of S3 yesterday. Pretty good, but I thought that Barry and Sally broke up last season, so I was surprised they were living together.

With my memory loss and the fucking 2+ year gap between the last season and this, everything just felt disconnected and weird in the S3 opener. It was almost the same feeling like when watching S4 of Arrested Development

Their relationship is weird. In ep 3 or so, they fuck, Barry then goes full autismo and buys her a 1k+ laptop and claims she's his gf, she gets mad and says they shouldn't talk, then it feels that out of nowhere, they're together again.

I'd say it gets one more season since they'll just excuse the drop claiming that it no longer has Game of Thrones to lead it and Covid widened the usual seasonal gap.

HBO Max is the best streaming service. I'm glad it doesn't have the mainstream notoriety Netflix has. Netflix is in debt and thinks throwing millions of dollars at scripts and actors will help when only 1 if not 2 things stick to the wall. HBO Max is ran by Warner Brothers with prestige, connections, infinite money and Texas millionaires willing to fund scripts. Also they have a staffed warehouse with props and costumes. Pretty kino honestly
