Unironically, why do so many young men try to imitate fictional characters' personalities?
Is it because millennials and zoomers grew up without strong male role models to look up?

I'm basically the driver from the film, DRIVE
I’m Driver but from the film Lars and the Real Girl.
It happens with books too and not just young males, either. You ever read a book and pick up traits from different characters and perspectives.. that's the same thang, fool.
>Is it because millennials and zoomers grew up without strong male role models to look up?
Yes. Modern parents just give their kids a computer or a game console and that's it.
I'm basically the driver but from the film Blade Runner 2049
>You ever read a book
no
What is this personality meme? Do NPCs not have personalities?
I'm Driver but from upcoming movie Barbie
I'm an engineer and introduce myself saying "ladies and gentleman if I say I'm an engineer you will agree"
gals be born and all pick the whore option
The final redpill is nobody has a personality
I'm the Jazz musician from the film La La Land.
I never had a Slush Puppie and now I kind of regret it. It will never taste as intended now, after a long day of playing tag with your frens.
Yeah I base my around the Tenet guy, guilty as charged.
The hockey arena where I grew you could add "sour squirts" for 10cents to your slushie. I'd get like 10 of them and have a sour orgasm
My idols include Vincent from Collateral and Roland Tembo from The Lost World JP.
>Women turn 20 and pick one of these to base their entire personality around
i wish every woman would turn into a bimbo. world peace would be possible.
Post the pic where she's surrounded by boys.
whats bottom right from
I usually switch between Thomas Wake and Danial Plainview for personalities. Helps that I am 6'3 and decent looking
Im ok with this
For me, it's Mr Bean, the best "literally me" in Yea Forums - Television & Film
>watch sopranos
>copy paulie's finger point
>Watch it Freddy
People imitate what they see. It's how you learned to tie your shoes and write with a pencil. This is not unusual or a problem. OP obviously saw a lot of gay porn and the result is this thread.
literally (by that I mean figuratively) me
I mostly based my personality on a woman though
Pathetic. I'm the real driver from Barbie.
youtube.com
Jeff Bezos?
You’re a good person then user
My fingers are too long and bony to pull off this look. Feels bad.
>he has the Drive gloves
If the movie doesn’t open to Margot and Ryan recreating this I’m walking out and into Oppenheimer next door.
All sigma males don't have fathers in their lives
they've already confirmed they won't use this song at all, FML
Jesus Christ why even bother then?
No decent role models in their own home. You expect kids to idolise their wageslave dads who are at work all day or too busy watching TV to spend time with their kids?
Most amusing is that women turn 20 and then never even develop a personality
>when you realize you're more invested in a fucking Barbie movie than you think is reasonable
All it took was them fucking up the song choices
For me, it's Lawrence Talbot.
>Is it because millennials and zoomers grew up without strong male role models to look up?
Ironically a reason I find Lawrence relatable is because of how awful my father was. lol
>word to the wise, scoob, rememba Vietnam
I’m gonna base my entire personality around gooning to Nicki on Yea Forums

what does this have to do with my post
DOORS OPEN IN 12 MINUTES
My father was not awful but was in the navy and I didnt even see him during most of my childhood. I always felt jealous of kids who could spend the weekends playing with their dads and bonding. As a result I'm an insecure 31 year old who thinks manliness = violence and arrogance
WATCH IS SCOOBY
what is top middle and middle right?
This doesn't happen
as if our dads didn't the same when they were watching westerns, which are marvel movies for boomers
Still a great song.
Digits of truth
This, and it'll only get worse
I don’t mimic their personality but I feel as if I have a lot of similarities with k.
Our personalities are for the most part a set of traits, phrases, intonations, mannerisms, that we picked up somewhere and decided to adopt. Look at yourself, "unironically", you picked this up on the net, you thought it was cool and maybe kinda quirky, so now you say "unironically". Of course you can also come up with something without any external influence. That "something" could be the way you say a word, the way you react to things, a funny catchphrase...and that little something won't change the fact that, behind it, there's still a whole "personality" that's merely a concoction of everything you've seen in your life and deemed cool enough to be "you". If you become famous, you might influence other people to adopt whatever little thing you come up with, you will have made a contribution to the zeitgeist.
Because of hedonistic consumerism. Kids learn social skills from tik tok and tv shows instead from their peers
I don't know who any of those people are barring the Twilight guy (whose name I don't know). Am I supposed to know who they are?
Unironically a good post
Me too. I drive.
He is the only male role model you need
neeeeeerd
this is a cool post, I will incorporate it into my personality
what's picrel's traits?
I'm literally Travis Bickle. AMA.
Same, bro, only person I recognize is Thomas Howard from "The Lighthouse", but even so, who the fuck bases his personality around Thomas fucking Howard from "The Lighthouse"?.
