S1-3 is kino. The show peaks in S3. All the interesting characters die in the third season and the rest of the show suffers for it. S4-5 is dumb but serviceable enough. The show has a satisfying end in season 5 so it's worth checking it out. But man, the battles get stupider and stupider as the show goes on. It's a shame they never released a full soundtrack for the show apart from a tiny compilation album because the soundtrack is good.

I watched the first 4 seasons and enjoyed them all. Strange because I hate everything that comes out these days, and even old shit pisses me off with all the anti-white propaganda. If you're christian you might hate this show, but I'm not and I love the way Uhtred constantly bulldozes over christian (((morality))).

Heard the new season is dog shit, though.

Cool. Hopefully they release one album for each season. I've been waiting on Bear McCreary to release the Black Sails soundtrack for seasons 2-4 all these years and nothing happened so we'll see. The Expanse soundtrack for seasons 5-6 is missing too. Fucking hell, what is wrong with these studios and their music rights shit. Why can't they just release this shit. 1-3 are all good in their own way. S4 was handed over to a female showrunner and writers and they dumb a literal boatload of brown people in the first episode. I didn't quit there but I did within a few episodes of awful writing and direction.
