People get fucked all the time in the BCS/ BB, there's the tarantula kid that gets killed by Todd, Jesse's gf getting killed, Nacho getting killed, the German engineer that Mike killed, Mike's son, Gale and so on. It's literally a huge part of the show, all these underserving people getting caught up and killed

Gale is meant to be almost totally innocent (aside from making meth, but he's basically just a lab rat totally removed from everything). And with Mike's son they would have killed him whether he took the money or not, Mike is upset by it because he made his son degrade himself right before he died and it didn't even make a difference. He's 100% blameless there, there's nothing he could have done to not get killed

AFAIK Nacho doesn't know the location of the motel. The Salamancas know the motel, but only Hector knows Lalo is alive and he can't tell him. It's possible the twins could tell him, but the first time Lalo speaks to Hector he immediately sets off driving somewhere. So even if they did tell him the location it wouldn't make sense for him to start driving somewhere before they told him. He already had a location in mind.

the clearest examples are chuck's death following all of jimmy's antics and mike reckoning with the death of the good samaritan after leaving the cartel driver alive
the outcomes aren't intended or even necessarily deserved, but the characters made bad decisions

Yeah good point but still blameless deaths or near blameless deaths are a big part of both series. You're forgetting about that GF of Jesse's that has the son (Brock), and how the Neo-Nazi gang shoots her just because Jesse tried to escape. The idea that Howard would get caught up and killed somehow is perfectly consistent with both series, there isn't any "karma" in either of the series

I didn't think it was funny at all. When it first started being a thing, I just stopped lurking for half a day, and after that just ignored any post relating to timelines, eggs, or anything like that. I'm not really noticing it anymore though.
