>somehow bad man from first movie is back
>also blue
BRAVO CAMERON
Avatar 2
did someone leak the footage at CinemaCon?
HAS MY BOY RETURNED?
>Stephen Lang's glorious biceps are now CGI
Dropped
>somehow
They literally show you that you can transfer a consciousness to a new body.
Kinda makes sense in terms of keeping the title relevant
Jake's Navi body isn't an avatar anymore, it's just his body, so you gotta have some other major characters actually using avatars now
Looks more of the same
>and here is my previously never mentioned identical twin brother
what a HACK
didn't he die?
I haven't seen Avatar for like 5 years
>Stephen is the true Avatar
Holy shit, based, bravo Nolan
source?
Post the fucking source OP
Give me link man.
At least they addressed the plot hole on why isn’t all the military just giant blue people.
>Sunglasses
Just like me
Except Quaritch wasn't connected to any Avatar system or to Eyewa or anything when he died.
is this real?! :O
it's because the avatar bodies are hideously expensive
Avatar 2: The Wanna Of Wanga
>posts obvious cam of Cinemacon
>doesn't post source
>nor webm
OP CONFIRMED FAG TO THE SURPRISE OF ABSOLUTELY NOBODY
Secret project you didn’t now about
>Cameron spent 15 years working on this
And it’s based
It's so weird how Avatar is the second highest grossing movie in the world but no one gives a shit about it now.
>second
>no one gives a shit because I (a seething chud) say so
>second
Post the entire thing OP
maybe he un-died between the events of the first and second movie.
It barely got any merchandise. There was a 360 game is all I remember.
His body can die but revives through sheer power of charisma.
it is Number 1 again because it got re-released in China
I thought the same thing. You would think something so financially successful would have people talking about it a lot more.
why would their tree-deity transfer his corrupt soul to an avatar
>transfer a consciousness
Oh boy, the no-inner-monologue crowd speaks out again
Makes sense since Avatar is obviously about religion.
>xir says while still talking about it 13 years after its release
kiss BF shill
abatap must be absolutely creaming himself right now
>the stars will belong to us.jpg
Yes. Stephen lang said the colonel is going to be a combination of darth vader and the terminator.
If we would have technology to create actual remote-controlled bodies of enormous super-strong aliens, don't you think we would use this for Spec Ops? It was actually pretty logical and first movie used this - the marines use the blue guy body for recoinasance, but he got too close and sold humanity for alien pussy. They just needed to give that cripple available human pussy between his infiltration sessions
Can this NPC meme die? There’s like ten people above you asking for a link to the leaked trailer.
People just like the effort that went into creating the world, but that's about it. If it wasn't James Cameron making the movie nobody would have even cared about that.
What are you talking about? That's not Quaritch.
I'm only talking about it because there's a thread about it, besides here very occasionally I never see it brought up.
>Forget it, Jake. It's Avatartown.
lol remember George Bush?
It turns out that he too was using an avatar; just a human one.
For fucking real.
woah, this is unironically cool
That's actually kino as fuck
holy kino
name 10 movies from 2009 that get daily threads on 4channel
>using an avatar, which is already difficult
>compounded by the fact that the avatar has human specs, which is much weaker than the xenos
>still puts up that much of a fight
What a madman
SAAAAUCEEEE
>*sighs* Somehow, Quaritch returned
The first one was a success because of a gimmick. No one even remembers the name of the main character.
it's john right?
Why dont they just glass the fucking planet
>but no one gives a shit about it now.
>oh is that the new heckerino marvel film??!
Only Reddit doesn’t care about it. True kino lovers do.
Why don't we just glass africa?
Things don’t just die on Pandora. It is a living planet. When Quaritch “died” his essence passed into the planet. By sheer will and patriotism he held on and willed himself to reincarnate. Basically he refused to go to the afterlife and become a part of the dirt, the water, the air, the trees.
They want the super valuable diamonds or something
He did custom speech for the avatar pinball machine.
glassing our own planet fucked up many of the metals we need for various machines because of radiation
who knows how it will fuck up that faggotium shit
It's not that nobody gives a shit about it, it's that the only cultural impact it had was a very small niche of people who paint their bodies blue and have weird fetish sex pretending to be the blue cat aliens. Everybody saw it, but it was such a forgetable movie in the sense that nobody cared about any of the characters, the world was ultimately bland, nothing about the content has any lasting appeal. There is nothing to latch onto unless you want to fuck the aliens. It's weird how EVERYBODY saw Avatar yet the only things people talk about is that they saw it and the 3D was cool. Ultimately the story sucked, the characters sucked, and there is no interesting lore to it. It might as well have been a tech demo.
I want to punch him in the face so much.
Was Giovanni Ribisi's big head an avatar of something? What an impressive 3D feat that melon was
This plus also it can be interpreted that Eywa decided to keep him for one reason or another. Maybe he (in reincarnated state) (and even as a force for "evil") is important for some kind of balance, in a cosmic sense. Don't question the tree, user.
Nah, gonna be some thing where he uploaded his consciousness to a hard drive in case something happened to him. Makes sense from a corporate standpoint cuz of how long it takes to transport people to Pandora. Faster just to back up important people and reload them into a clone or something.
>avatar was forgettable
>leaks, blurry images prompt speculation across all social media
>muh "zero cultural impact"
Holy god SHUT THE FUCK UP with this cope memery
