His original idea for 4 sounded kind of shit. Vulture being the biggest bad Spider-Man had faced yet with Mysterio as a joke villain. Also both villains have already been done now. Kraven would have been a much better pick for 4.

Nah, Venom in 3 was always going to be a horrible idea. You need a whole film to establish the symbiote suit and then a whole film for Venom, otherwise you get what we got, which was a whole film of black suit Spiderman with 5 minutes of Venom thrown onto the end. There's too much going on to throw it all into one film
