Is this worth watching or is it one of those A24 movies that people say are good so they can sound smart?

It's one of the handful of A24 movies I like. It's better than the director's previous film, It Follows.

Pretty good. Stuff actually happens in this one, so it isn't "muh slow burn"
Also the movie is kinda redpilled, if that means anything to you.

The reveal sucks though. The movie is pretty good but the reveal pretty much ruined the movie for me.

They didn't actually produce it. A24 was responsible for distribution, but that's it.

The mystery and clues makes no sense and it didn't make sense why they would let the guy walk away alive when they were killing people, but it was still a fun movie.

I liked it, but I'm not sure what I was supposed to get out of it.
I thought it was about people who think everything is a conspiracy and maybe it was saying that even if you were right it's stupid to chase them down because the hidden messages aren't meant for you.
That I guess it's calling those people narcissists.
And the stuff about him being the dog killer? I don't know.
Or maybe it's all a big joke and if you're trying to figure out what this movie means, you're wasting your time as much as main character is.

It's pretty good. I watched it with my parents and the sex scenes and booba scenes were great. After the movie ended my mom looked at me and said "I know why user recommended this movie"

i disowned brick, because its just pretentious in hindsight now, but the soundtrack is still a keeper
i still kept all the versions of "Emily's Theme" from the soundtrack on my pc, that was the only still redeeming factor from the movie
