American Movie and Who Took Johnny are the best documentaries i've ever seen.
Tickled and Crumb are also great. The real hidden gem and i wish more people on Yea Forums saw it - Trayvon Hoax, it's on youtube. Absolutely insane movi, very funny, though. The director is clearly insane but due to his autism we know the whole truth about the case.

I watched this after hearing it was super violent and anti-gun, but I thought it was extremely tame. The most gruesome images were still photos of suicide victims, which I thought were in poor taste and not even applicable to the thesis of the documentary. It also didn’t seem very anti-gun either. There were a few comments made about the availability of guns in the USA, but a big portion of the movie was spent discussing serial killers like John Wayne Gacy and Edmund Kemper who didn’t even use guns to murder people.
