When I finished LOTGH I was in a daze. I wish I could find another show/anime as good as it, I was completely sucked in the whole time.
Is there anything similar to it thats worth a watch?

Stop trying so hard. LOGH is good but it's not the le intellectual anime only for le 200IQ that you say it is. It's a good political/war thriller with some insightful scenes of dialogue. Attack on Titan is also a good anime with some of the best animated action and actually some pretty involved politics and philosophical debates towards the latter half. You can like both.

MHA is just modern Naruto but it isn't worth seething about.

There is Twelve Kingdoms and Arlan (by LOGH author).
Neither are set in space if you mean that, but they are tonally similar. Arslan anime is incomplete, so you might read the manga instead.

I don't believe there's anything even remotely near as good but Monster is a long tv show that pretty much maintain it's quality for the full 70 episodes. It's very different tho and it's a thriller.
