Is it really that bad?
Star Trek: Voyager
No, not at all. Kate Mulgrew is really charismatic.
No it's fun and boobtastic
Yes.
Better than DS9 desu
Nah it's pretty good
Slightly better than ds9 slightly worse than ent
It is very rewatchable, unlike the farty pants from tng.
If you’re watching TNG and then DS9 and then get to Voyager you’ll notice a significant dip in quality but it still scratches the trek itch.
Is that new cartoon with Janeway any good?
this is VOYAGER
TOM PARIS
>Better than DS9 desu
fuck off, DS9 was peak Trek
It's quite a good television program.
Not anymore with Picard shitting things up worse than Voyager ever could.
worst shit ever made
but one fag will shill it like a bitch
just wait
>inb4 direct sequel
>inb4 le ideals
it's bad which just shows how even worse discovery and picard are
It's sincere.
Best NuTrek thing, definitely. But that’s not saying much.
that was a very creative excuse for changing kes's hairstyle
What the fuck is this?
shill bitches fuck off
Son I am disappoint
Ease up, buddy. I’m curious.
I won’t pay for it anyway.
The doctor epsiodes and scenes are good.
Jump ahead every time mulgrew is whining about something on screen.
Harry Kim showed me the pain you inflict on others by being beta, so life lessons a'plenty.
Where a good show wasn't possible, this was an acceptable compromise.
Alright. I might binge it. I’ll be honest, i’m dying to see more Janeway.
Neelix is love.
More like Peak Grimdark Trek
soul
not anymore, heaps of comfy episodes
I hate Neelix.
>Grimdark
I wish....but the fags in Hollywood are too cucked to do 40k any justice on screen....
Well let's see...
>Roastie Captain
>Pedophile cook
>Spic Engineer
>Fag gook whatever he was
>Onions Doctor
Easily the worst of the pre-modern treks.
I think ending the general format and moving to an individual thread format would be the best course of action.
>Well let's see...
>>Roastie Captain
>>Pedophile cook
>>Spic Engineer
>>Fag gook whatever he was
>>Onions Doctor
>Easily the worst of the pre-modern treks.
Not that much. It gets a lot of hate for coming off the coattails of both Deep Space Nine and The Next Generation, which are both hard acts to follow up. It has a shaky start while the production is still trying to get their groove, and suffers from scripts that feel rejected from the previous two series', The main cast are absolute bangers of raw talent that are repeatedly let down by retarded production decisions. When voyager works, it is some of the best damn star trek produced, and when it is bad, it is some really god damn laughably bad broadcast TV. One of my favourite episodes has jeri ryan put on a regular uniform instead of the sex-bomb catsuit and hoboy she is hotter than hell in it, and acts her tits off too.
Janeway was kino, incel. Best of both worlds.
Neck yourself, tranny
OH and the episodes with Barclay are all absolute treats. Highly recommend
Fuck Tuvix, he deserved to die
It’s the most popular one.
You will never be a woman
okay, and?
It's way better than Discovery or Picard, I can say that much. It actually feels like a fucking Star Trek show.
Based.
Isn't it for kids ?
You have awful tastes
Voyager is Star Trek. It's actually closer to the generic Star Trek formula than DS9 who was more experimental and had a different tone. Voyager was made for a more traditional and effecient trekking.
It had some good points:
> Strong and efficient premise: ship is lost on the other half of the galaxy, has to go home with limited ressources and a crew made of Starfleet, Maquis and random aliens.
> Fewer constraints than previous shows, everything is new in the delta quadrant and you need to take in account what the rest of the Federation is doing (that was a DS9 weakness, where the fuck is Picard during the war ?)
> Tons of possible new races, new empires, new tech
> Borgs
But it mostly failed because:
> they never correctly exploited the limited ressources concept except for a couple episodes. Writers didn't want to have previous episodes impacting too much the next ones. It's a shame, the survival aspect was lost.
> Many characters and/or actors are bad. Janeway's actress is good but her writing is completly incoherent. Kim, Paris, Tuvok and klingon girl are forgettable at best, Neelix is Jarjar and only the EMH and later Seven makes an impression.
> the delta quadrant is apparently a boring place with generic aliens, no big powers except the Borg and nothing very original
Why is it that this show keeps getting bad critical reviews, yet people still like it? I used to love this show (in some episodes). But now I like it even less than in the early days. All these reviews are just making it look even worse.
The only time I don't like the shows is when they try to be overly-realistic sci-fi. I mean, we have the holodeck, but I would like to see them try to be, at least, more original. I mean, they did try to make this one original, but that's the only time I didn't like the show. If you try to be too realistic, you won't be interesting, or funny. Just my opinion.
I thought VOY was pretty good. They did a really good job in telling the story of all the characters. You could really feel all the characters, and feel the journey they went through.
voyager got a few things right, it was fun seeing a federation ship outclass most things like the kazon in early seasons but overall id put it behind enterprise even
it was decent
kneelix, beeeelana were shit and most of the time janeway and chkaotay were not good.
But the rest of the characters were entertaining. The 4th best Star Trek
It is for kids, which means it’s devoid of Kurtzman’s signature garbage.
reminder OP is a faggot
I don’t know what that means.
Are there any femboys in Voyager?
>dabbing on Yea Forums faggots
Actually he seems based
It's the last main timeline show that still resonates with normies. Used to get shown on tv all the time as well.
Machiavellian even.
OP probably doesn't want to deal with the annoying LD poster that keeps pushing their crappy show nobody wants to watch.
I liked the bit where the crew went so stir-crazy being stuck on their ship they started treating their medical program like a real person.
Discarded opinion, Neelix disparager.
>DS9
do you mean Babylon 9?
no, it was mid-90's through 2001. It massively predates the feminized cute boy trend.
Babylon 5 sucks
No
Understandable. Reminds me of that episode of Voyager where they ran into that sociopath.
>DS9 was peak Trek
i hate season 1 & 2 neelix. he gets a lot better in season 3 after he admits he is almost worthless.
stay in your fucking containment thread
I really like the episodes with the gollum actor
OP is still a faggot, but so is those brony-brand cartoon niggers. disagreement is fine, this is star trek after all, but how about discussion instead of retarded reeeeing into the void?
He has his moments
agreed, just give the retards the general. they'll be bored by the end of the week
He improves literally the minute kes leaves, as does the show in general
What was his problem?
Hey, I just like crapping on that poster because it's easy to make them seethe. I really don't care about Lower Decks or whatever.
My tomboys will beat your femboys 1v1 nigger
What? I can't find him anywhere in trek.
No.
>mogs every star trek girl
uh, you're right. It really does.
But I have no science fiction to watch.
>ds9 shitters seething that VOY is infinitely more loved and watched than spacemall
Voyboys can't stop winning
As much as I like the EMH, Voyager went too far with holograms, considering TNG already previously went too far with holograms too...
Holograms are now completly conscient being, with perfect AI emulating all human emotions (fuck you Data) and having free-will. They have bodies made of light but turning solid thanks to forcefields and so they can theorically assume any form they want even if the EMH almost never do (fuck you changelings). They are virtually immortal, can fix their own technology and with the portable emetter, they can even exist outside the holodeck.
There is absolutly no reason to use anything else than entire holographic crew in Starfleet ships.
i am not a kes fan but who would talk the doctor into sentience if she wasnt there?
>but how about discussion
impossible. cartoon trek fans are absolute nu-male bronie tier retarded. let them have the general, they'll be bored by the end of the day.
Wrong. Even Neelix admits he is pointless after Boog space because he doesn't know anything or anybody.
Oh sorry I meant this guyLying Snaketounge or whatever his stupid name was in lotr
This is a bannable offense as you are flooding/spamming this board.
I will now report you and close the thread, and if you report me for announcing a report I'll turn airplane mode on and off and continue posting.
Please refrain from ever making this thread again - you've been warned.
I found DS9 kinda boring. Even ENT is much more engaging for me.
user that is highly illogical.
Neelix is the voice of the writers
> I was supposed to be the cook in the crew
> we don't need cooks, we have replicators
> wait, weren't we supposed to save energy because limited ressources ?
> limited what ?
ENT is based and I'm tired of pretending it's not
Who would win in Mortal Kombat
Red and orange are Kira's colors, you Vulcan prostitute.
Blalock literally came back from the wall user.
Few other women have done this.
