SAME AS IT EVER WAS
THIS IS NOT MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE"S BOYFRIEND HOUSE
THIS IS NOT MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE
>And you may find yourself as the janitorial staff of an imageboard
>And you may find yourself working for zero remuneration
>And you may find yourself sitting in a poorly constructed gaming chair
>And you may find yourself in a moldy basement, without a beautiful wife
>And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"
i have not once clicked on that video and I intend never to do that too, can't stop me. I also have never clicked on the video or heard "this is america" song.
Okay aspie, proud of u
talking headss are great, this is not one of their best though
Theme song of my life, I listen to it every time I have an existential crisis(which is everyday)
>could have been one of the biggest bands of the 80s
>singer is an arrogant bitch who doesn't play well with others, doesn't like to share with others, and somehow expected to be a gigantic mega-star by himself
>he even made sure he's the only member of the band present in their biggest hit video
YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF
PREPPING A BULL
the rest of the band didn't do much anyway
>I also have never clicked on the video or heard "this is america" song
same
He's literally autistic
Yeah, I got that impression too
Unironically this, David Byrne literally was the only one aside from maybe the drummer who even contributed to their sound. If you watch them play live, tina can barely play her parts let alone play in time, Chris is unremarkable and Jerry doesn’t do anything at all.
He's the only one with talent in the band and he did collab with Brian Eno
Byrne is Talking Heads. One of the few bands where they sound better live
These ZANY Americans are making me laugh!!!! So biting!!!!
For God’s sake no they don’t, and the shows where they do it’s because they literally have 1-2 touring musicians covering everyone’s part because they can’t be trusted to play them properly themselves. The only good thing about their “live sound” was busta jones
Born Under Punches is a superior song.
Psycho killer song (1977) was so fucking ahead of the curve it could literally pass as mid 2000 rock like the strokes or similar bands.
>Does Talking Head better than Talking Head
Psycho Killer was about Jimmy Carter
The Great Curve is their best song, right?
youtube.com
David Byrne is not neurotypical
flying saucers
levitation
YO
i could do that

Beautiful
AND THE DAYS GO BY
The two songs at the start of Stop Making Sense are the best things they did
I loved this movie.
which was your favorite song from it? City of Dreams or the album version of Papa Legba for me.
LETTING THE DAYS GO BY
Worst choices, it’s People Like Us
felt like sorrentino just made this film because he liked the song and was able to get byrne to appear
He truly was a talking head.
Kek
>OP keeps bumping the thread and replying to his own post
Ruined a perfectly good byrnethread
Heh
>be autistic
>do autistic things
Many such cases
Mountain Dew flowing underground
This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) is the better song.
80s King Crimson was one of the best periods for any rock band in history. I like Talking Heads but Discipline alone mogs their whole discography.
>user forgot about beat and ToaPP
Nice try
For me its Road To Nowhere
I got a rock in toe
>ALWAYS DILATE THEN CRY
thats not even the best song on that album
this is David Bryne's favorite album
I''m gonna respect your opinion but I don't understand it. The Great Curve is simply a god tier song
great accomplishments you got in your life. your father would be proud.
>SHOULD WE AWAKE
>AND FIND IT GONE
>REMEMBER THIS, OUR FAVOURITE TOWN
This was a great movie. Made me feel oddly nostalgic considering I never experienced the small town life shown in the movie.
talking heads is kino
I live a couple blocks away from where he does American Utopia on broadway. Pretty great show anons, you should check it out, he encourages everyone to dance during a few of the numbers like burning down the house and I couldn't believe he does a version of "Don't trust the government" which is my fucking favorite
The Great Curve is even better.
>Browns
Shan't be partaking in that repulsive spectacle.
correct. their best song
I enjoyed it very much except for the part where they say all the dead black people names. Knowing how few of them were actually legitimate police brutality events was the issue.
lmao byrne added a "say his name" portion near the end of the performance that would fucking obliterate most of the flyovers posting ITT. just FYI, she's a really fantastic performer and it's extremely fun to watch her, you know because broadway (and your hero byrne) focuses on performative ability above all else, that's why you go see a show in the first place, but stay uncultured sweaty ;)
A WORLD OF LIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
you sound like a psycho
>Huh? You wont consume feces? Stay uncultured, sweaty.
Shan't be giving (You) another (You).
no I don't, sperglord
you live Hell's Kitchen. You are psychotic.
this
best KC album right here, senpai
the sad thing is david byrne would most likely try to talk to you and understand better why you turn to racism like a security blanket. i'm sure he'd just be wasting his time but you'd earn his pity all the same.
I listened to this song while reading one of those threads where all the depressed anons talk about the passage of time and all the wildly different ways their lives have gone and it was kino
I live in Columbus Circle dorkwad lmao, does the name "hell's kitchen" actually scare you? there are actually very few places below 100th you can live in Manhattan that are actually dangerous lmao, now go feed your chickens or w/e the fuck retards like you pass the day with
Burning Down the House
best track I've heard from them
still can't even compare to KC
