Just finished. Watched 5 episodes last night and 4 today. Surprisingly good overall, the ending sucked though. No overt leftist cringe except the homo scenes.
I am disappointed it will get another season. I am 99% sure they have no idea how to continue the story and will come up with some utter garbage that will spoil the show (like Westworld, for example). Should have been a contained story in 1 season.
Also, I found I have a fetish for women in professional/work skirts. That bitch is a 5/10 at best and has a FAS face, but the clothes she wears make me diamonds and turn her into a 9/10 instantly.

I think they are working on human cloning (the goats) and human consciousness transfer (pic related, the CEO talking about a "revolving"). Maybe the more recent CEOs in the Perpetuity room were all one guy cloning himself and now the tech is available for mass production?
The Board could be earlier CEOs scanned, but unable to transfer bodies, some sort of A.I./human hybrid.
The CEO wanting everyone to have chips and apparently being able to erase the minds at will, pic related "clean slate", could be a plot to replace world leaders with his people.

I think you’re right to suggest the severance floor is some kind of experiment- at the very least it’s a PR campaign to legitimise the use of the chip. However my guess is that severing memories isn’t the only procedure they undergo. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some kind of Pavlovian conditioning going on too, so that they experience certain emotions from seeing certain sets of numbers but don’t remember why. The testing floor is presumably where they programme the Pavlovian response to the numbers, possibly with another innie that gets erased so they don’t remember why they feel the way they do about the numbers, all they have is the emotional response with no corresponding memory.

The "Jigsaw didn't commit crime" was 100% a marketing push for the new Saw movie with Chris Rock. When the movie was delayed the meme stopped and only returned briefly when the movie almost came out again.

That would mean for every “day” we see them go through on the severance floor, a week would’ve passed in outie time. Doesn’t make a huge amount of sense to me timeline wise. I was thinking rather that they have test innies that are subjected to Pavlovian conditioning and then erased, so the innie on the severance floor still has those conditioned emotional responses but no memory of why they feel the way they do when they see certain numbers.
