Unlike a lot of people here im not actually racist but I think I have the answer.

Commitee sits down top write the movie. First thing anyone says is it has to be diverse, then they start suggesting famous good looking black actors but it doesn't feel right. When they picture Elba they don't get the feeling of angry flared people pumping their fists and enriching store fronts.

The casting director is probably pissed off they have to do diversity hires. So they decide to cast ugly people of other races to spite their managers at Disney.
The result is that a lot of these black/minority actors get a role and a few million bucks, but then they don't get cast for films any more.

Very simple. Disney was a white man's company until the 2000s. Around the time Iger came in there was a huge shuffle of people. (They) turned the company into a corporate buyout juggernaut in order to integrate other (Jewish) properties that mocked the average American family (The Simpsons), films without substance people can easily buy toys of due to being bright and flashy (Marvel) or propaganda that paints other countries as beautiful and superior (National Geographic). Seeing John Boyega for the first time in The Force Awakens was the shock of my life.

When Boyega first took off that helmet and revealed himself to the theater, I let out an audible gasp. My entire row of filmgoers looked at me like I was nuts, but I couldn't help myself. There before me was the most Simian creature I'd ever seen in a galaxy far, far away. An intergalactic gorilla with huge flaring nigger nostrils and big Nigerian chieftain lips.

Oftentimes film studios will soften the blow by casting Billy Dee Williams or Will Smith... but not this time. This time you were forced to feast your eyes on a pure-blooded coal black silverback nigger, blown up forty feet high on an IMAX screen.
