>Be Bruce Wayne >Handsome, rich, White, oligarchical, conservative, likely Catholic, and risking your life every night >Some black lady walks up to you at a funeral saying you’ve ignored dozens of her calls and asking for gibs >Ignore the fuck out of her, don’t say a word to her the entire movie, literally not one word
If this movie is woke why is Bruce so fucking based? Even Selina spouting white privilege diatribes got BTFO because Batman is the hero of the movie anyway
The movie was a stealth redpill that glorified good cops and Batman, while the retard SJW characters flounder around acting like morons and being proven wrong
A lot of the good ''woke'' films do that. Hell, Wonder Woman did it, the entire movie she has to rely on a man to show her how to function in 'modern' society, and then in the end he saves the day while she rages out on Aries, before sulking for the next century. Yet, it was praised by the usual talking heads, because they don't actually watch or pay attention.
If you’re the mayor then you should be asking the rich members of your city for donations, it’s literally politics 101. She’d be retarded if she didn’t at least try
Anthony Reed
Come on man, asking for that shit in a fucking funeral?
>Even Selina spouting white privilege diatribes got BTFO yeah she correctly guesses that hes a rich kid with a privileged upbringing and probably knows hes Bruce Wayne, judging off his autistic reaction when she said "fuck Bruce Wayne" and then kissed him and quickly falls in love with him anyway.
James Anderson
Don’t forget he sends Selina packing instead of simping
Jeremiah Thomas
>character mentions God with awed reverence throughout the movie >not religious kill urself tranny
a lot of people have pointed out that the movie says "NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD", and thus makes the movie bad
Daniel King
Selina making a normie "deh white people" remark is what I would expect from an underground prostitute/whore/thief of the inner city.
Jonathan Torres
And a lot of people are retarded. Batman has always been a cop without a badge
Cameron Bell
>has the testicular fortitude to send the thot away, lest she taint his crusade >still pines for her in the furnace of his heart, watching longingly as she speeds away kino ending shots
Nathaniel Jones
>conservative >he didn't immediately seethe when catwoman told him about rich white assholes yeah he's not conservative
Yeah? It’s not like Bruce knew the guy personally and he never answers her messages or leaves his house at all. It’s a rare opportunity to be seized. It’s fucking politics
Jordan Roberts
And risk completely blowing his cover because some prostitute is crying about privilege?
>WHAT NO WAY BRUCE WAYNE IS GREAT! DONT TALK ABOUT HIM THAT WAY!
He was stoic, said nothing, and let her lust after him instead
Joshua Reed
he literally did
Jaxson Russell
He just got done telling her her whore friend got what she deserved
Blake Miller
case in point he didn't
Samuel Price
When you are worth literal billions, you don't seethe when someone calls you a privileged asshole. And when your city is swamped in shit and corruption of course you are going to lean conservative.
Justin Watson
that was before she said the line iirc >And when your city is swamped in shit and corruption of course you are going to lean conservative. You know there are conservative cities that are total shitholes too you know
> Batman tries to help his community and his city but it’s hard to paint him as anything other than conservative. He’s rich and individualistic and uses punitive action to beat up criminals. His relationship with police perfectly captures a conservative worldview. While not trusting the government to be particularly competent, he thinks authorities such as Commissioner Gordon generally have their heart in the right place. At the same time, many of the lower level police can’t be trusted. This depiction of a “well-meaning incompetent government”, which needs a rich individual to help it along, captures the essence of conservatism.
Luke Roberts
>Villain figures out vast conspiracy and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the city government is loyal to the mob. >Gets the police to work with Batman to uncover the conspiracy and bring it to the public's attention.
Up until this point I was with the Riddler. He had no other options to retaliate. But then, out of the blue, goes full anarchist and decides to blow up the sea wall and try to assassinate the new mayor who hasn't done shit yet. It's as if they read the script and thought, "oh shit, Riddler's looking too based......lets throw a curve ball to make him irredeemable."
Robert Jenkins
>thatself.com yeah nah
Carter Clark
>IS THAT A HECKIN CATHOLIC IN MY HOLLYJEW KOSHERINO? >I AM LITERALLY SHAKING RIGHT NOW
Zachary Moore
Literally just type in Batman political leaning, he’s 100% not a democrat
John Walker
Probably would be a libertarian than a Republican.
Robert Watson
I mean the entire nuwars is literally that. All the female characters who were supposed to be the champions of wokeness all ended up being the butt of the jokes.
Hudson Martinez
Batman's schtick throughout the entire film is to inspire fear in the criminals and not expressing about understanding or understanding their plight. He is not democrat who wants to redistribute his wealth or push for more government power. >I noticed you aren't being very philanthropic towards my election campaign Mr Wayne Well yeh bitch. You think throwing money at more corrupt politicians would have solved the government's ties to the mob?
>Batman's schtick throughout the entire film is to inspire fear in the criminals and not expressing about understanding or understanding their plight. Isn't he a year 2 Batman in the movie?
Daniel Price
just proving that the riddler was right culling the elites
Liam Flores
> Oh sure; the Democrats may get Batman in their corner - well, Bats undercover as Bruce Wayne, as he comes out in favor of "Martin Suarez" - but he makes a point of telling the audience that he doesn't really mean it:
Bruce Wayne integrated himself into the Suarez campaign so that I could have better tactical access.
Bruce Wayne masqueraded as a liberal, to infiltrate the campaign. Bats is conservative leaning through and through
John Kelly
I liked ww1 so much bros, it was a group of jaded dudes hanging around and being men while some naive girl thought she could end an entire war by herself
Tyler Anderson
Literally in EVERY Batman origin, Gordon is the only good cop in fucking Gotham. They even made him black in this, yet the wokes hate on him?
Cameron Mitchell
>conservative, likely Catholic, Imagine projecting this much
Andrew Fisher
>Catholic He's a wasp, you moron.
Also probably not, I'm pretty sure he's a atheist in most versions.
Nicholas Johnson
>>Ignore the fuck out of her, don’t say a word to her the entire movie, literally not one word Isnt it because hes an anti social autist?
Ethan Hall
No, lmao. While I might be able to see that, to a degree, Rey still comes out of things looking rosy, they still tore down all the classic characters and 'subverted' them, and they even had to kill off the last Skywaker in a silly way just to make sure she could get her princess kiss but not be tied to no man.
In The Batman, Bruce is shown to be genuinely competent and heroic if still a little green (while the diverse cast watch on in awe at the end), and in WW Steve is generally shown to be Captain America without the shield or serum, and goes out with grace as a genuine hero. The situations aren't remotely comparable. I mean, fuck Disney Wars is still at it, look at what they've done to Boba most recently. Image very related.
Because at it's heart it's never been about equality, not for the people who lead/speak for the movement. It's about tearing down traditional values and replacing them with degeneracy.
Julian Smith
Rey comes out of the trilogy as the most hated character in the SW saga, even by the wokes. Sure everyone was on her side during TFA and TLJ, but TROS turned everyone against her.
Joshua Walker
>good cop There's your problem. Wokies are so anti-authority, even (or especially) sound authority with good morals, they start grinding their jaws and wanting to screech just at the idea of them. Have you ever tried to reason with the usual furry avatar commie? Certain subjects and ideas just won't register with them. You can practically see the error codes.
Bentley Baker
>why is Bruce so fucking based? I think with batman you have a lot of range since he's vaguely a criminal in his own way. And since the whole lore of Bruce Wayne is the conflict of losing his parents and not using lethal force against criminals, he's allowed to make "mistakes" from time to time, in fact that's basically his story and character, and since it can be left up to the audience to determine what is a mistake and what isn't, they can then sneak a lot of things in.
This is literally what makes both him and Superman two of the best story characters of all time, because you can literally throw these two into any given situation and then explore hypothetical scenarios that can go any which way since no one really knows what would happen in the real world if there was an actual Batman or Superman.
Evan Phillips
And so did Captain Marvel, so has the female Doctor, etc, and it doesn't matter. The discussion was that some writers have been clever enough to appeal to/trick the commies, because frankly they aren't as smart as they think they are, by telling traditional stories with a very thin (and subverted, even) woke varnish, such as Selina's line about Bruce Wayne, when our very white hero is stood in front of her, and goes on to save the day as she watches in awe with wet panties, or in WW where Steve Trevor is very much the real hero while Diana is playing catch up and the muscle of the group, and he even gets to take her cherry before his heroic sacrifice and she goes on to pine after him for a century.
Star Wars being so incompetent they fuck up their own characters to the point they are hated, like Rey and Holdo, and it being entirely unintentional, isn't remotely the same thing as purposefully getting good stories and traditional shit under the radar without it even being noticed.
>and not using lethal force against criminals, he's allowed to make "mistakes" from time to time It's actually one of the biggest issue with Batman, as often comes up in discussion. Take a genuine hardened vigilante like the Punisher or Moon Knight or even fucking Huntress of Red Hood; the movie would have been over in an hour. Penguin would have been executed. Falcone would have been executed, and it would have derailed Riddlers entire plan and sent him on an autistic rage, that likely would have revealed him sooner or fast tracked the finale, and the brawl with the Riddler goons would have been over in seconds because they would have been riddled with bullets and no epic brawl forced by Batman's no guns stance would have occurred.
Brandon Taylor
Yes, I agree very much with everything you've said.
Isaac Walker
Name 5.
Camden Nguyen
>Batman >Conservative
Asher Adams
Literally anti gun lol. Anti death penalty. Defunds the police. >Conservative You guys aren't the good guys. Never have been. Never will be. You are tha which upholds the corruption
Luke Young
>Name 5
Only FIVE?
Just the red areas on this map alone are infested with such a degree of poverty and crime that most people outside of them wouldn't be able to comprehend it. Like forget slums, there's actual families just living on a fields of grass in Arkansas.
Trust me, I used to drive a semi through the Bible belt, and the things I would see happening around me were just too depressing to take in. The media has done a piss poor job in showing just how insanely fucking bad a lot of Americans have it in some places. And yeah, a lot of these people are republicans.
The entire point of the movie, by the way, was Bruce realizing that punitive justice isn't enough to fix systemic problems. By the end of the movie he realizes that only by providing hope for a better future can things really change for the best.
Basically rejecting the angst of conservautism.
Alexander Richardson
She was craving that big batman cock.
Evan Hernandez
I don't think there are any cities in blue on that map. There are plenty of town and such, but I'm not seeing any cities. I can't claim to no shit about Arkansas, but I've lived in middle America and it's really not that bad.
Leo Lee
He's still going to punish bad guys. He's just going to do more helping hands, and spend more of the Wayne fortune on philanthropy.
Aiden Thomas
Imagine watching a movie where the city floods and theres a power vacuum set up and thinking Batman is going to stop beating the tar out of criminals and backing the police. The next movie will just have him donating and being a public figure as bruce wayne while still holding onto the conservative tenants of Batmans standard stories
It is never really definitively stated since so many people have worked on the character over the years.
Thomas Wayne was a non practicing Episcopalian, Martha Wayne was a devout Irish Catholic. Bruce was almost certainly baptized Catholic, in one of the comics he and Robin walk past a Catholic church during a service and he laments not attending Mass more often while making the sign of the cross.
