> I haven't seen most of my films
why are actors such plebs?
I haven't seen most of my films
Other urls found in this thread:
His movies are garbage
I havent seen most of his films either
They already know what happens
Not even Cry-Baby? wtf...
dont they go to the fucking premiers?
who cares if he spends all day nameing rocks and licking windows its his job to preform the director who hasnt watched any films is a pleb actors can do whatever they want
Aren't actors always in the premiere of the movie watching the movie there with the rest of the cast, the director, etc.?
they go in the front and leave through the tradesman's entrance.
even then desu the director might just want to make films kek he can plagurise anybody if he hasnt seen anything ultimately you dont need to watch films to make them
Too much coke to remember
Because it's their job to act and some actors only became actors because they wanted to become rich and famous or because they happened to be good at it. Those ones just aren't very invested in their craft.
this is pretty common.
Ultra redpill that is beyond Yea Forumstards understanding:
Actors like Johnny Depp don't watch their own films because they sold their soul to the devil for world fame. When Johnny Depp is acting, he is actually doing something called "channeling", where a demonic spirit takes over him.
He doesn't watch his own performance because it's not really him doing the acting. Many actors do not watch their movies. And actors also hate mirrors because they see legion of demons in themselves.
You know when you hate hearing your own voice or seeing yourself in recorded movies, and you go like ''wtf I never knew I look like this the mirror lied to me'' and then you just give up on life and feel ugly for a while. Its like that
big if true
the question was "did you do any films in the 2 years prior to amber heard's op-ed?"
that's his way of dodging it. who the fuck doesn't know whether they did a film in a period of time?
He hates watching himself on screen. He refers to his appearance in films as “him”.
Go to bed grandma.
His life is already pretty kino, he knows that his roles are only a means to an end.
Bob Dylan seemed to believe something like this
Why would you watch a movie you were in?
Or seems, I keep forgetting he's not dead
It's mostly the old "can't stand to watch myself", which you can get over if you try but most actors don't care to apparently.
They do but they're on their phone the entire time being sent nudes of your celeb crush
Same reason athletes watch video of themselves: to get better at it.
Anytime now, watch out for the 24th of this month
Most actors aren't trying to get better
Robert Mitchum never watched his own movies.
Good for him. He knows his work is shit.
If it's not him he's watching then that would be the reason to watch your own films since it's someone else.
Irrelevant.
Not really
Why the fuck would you watch something you had to work on for months, and do hundreds of scenes over and over again knowing every word and mannerism off by heart?
Are you fucking retarded?
>Heard's defence is that nothing before the oped was published, on dec16, is relevant
Then why have her team submitted so much evidence from before that period? I hope the jury notices how dishonest this argument is
I don't understand that part at all.
Did the judge say that? Where did that pronouncement come from?
Absolutely
>there's no reason to X
>Yes there is: Y
>okay but some don't wanna Y
That doesn't change that there's a reason to X.
Because you provided the raw material for real artists to produce their art and you acknowledge your place in that process by watching the movie and sending nice letters to the director, cinematographer and editors.
Yes it does
No, it's her defence.
Her team is claiming that it's a defamation case pertaining to the oped. Thus they argue that the oped didn't defame Depp and any problems he had came about before the publication of the piece.
In doing this, they strongly imply that Heard's actions and statements before the oped did indeed hurt Depp's career and image. But they don't explicitly admit that.
But since that's their defence, an honest argument would only focus on that. They however are not. They have submitted hundreds of pieces of evidence from that period and keep objecting to testimony related to matters from before that period of time, seemingly unrelated to the oped altogether.
That they oppose the testimony that they do and present the evidence that they have should suffice as an admittance that the case doesn't solely pertain to the oped and that things said/done before that are relevant. Pretending otherwise comes off as extremely dishonest.

I love Dylan but the guy is a bit of a nut. He has repeatedly said in his older age that he's made deals with entities to get where he has. I know in at least one interview he said it's why he constantly tours - it's part of the deal. He also believes his songs already existed in some capacity, he was just finding them.
Johnny only has like 6 good movies
POTC 1 & 2
Fear and Loathing
Ed Wood
Sweeney Todd
Sleepy Hollow (Guilty Pleasure)
He's in like 100 movies and 94 of them are garbo. I don't blame him for not watching them.
>no Dead Man
Wtf?? Do you even enjoy arthouse?
You're right.
Add Dead Man and Ninth Gate.
>do you even enjoy arthouse
>t. literal homosexual
Has he tried... acting?
well a lot of his early songs are just covers of southern folk songs
there are two Passion of the Christ? and Depp was in both of them?
Public Enemies is kino and I'm tired of pretending that it's not
based
No it doesn't. Just because you're fine with being fat doesn't mean there's no reason for anyone to eat healthy and exercise. l2logic.
edward scissorhands
dead man
what's eating gilbert grape
donnie brasco
blow
New + Old Testament
spoiler: he comes back to life in the sequel
Musicians are the same way. Artists don't usually engage with their own art, instead they look for inspiration from other sources.
>No it doesn't
Except it literally does
Watching yourself in movies is often uncomfortable.
t. Used to act in student films
Do you think musicians listen to their own albums? That seems a bit egotistical, no?
Imagine someone followed you around work for months and then took all the footage and edited it together would you really want to watch something you lived through?
>student films
Is that what the 70 year old Jewish man that raped you called them?
it'd be a pretty boring movie
>wake up
>jerk off
>work from home
>eat
>shower
>stare at computer until bedtime
>jerk off
>brush teeth
>sleep
>repeat
>shower every 2 days
What a life.
I wouldn't either, you really get uninterested in watching something you personally took part in. A lot of times it's just embarrassment like I really can't watch myself even if I'm only in a small part or even just an extra.
Except actors don't make movies, they appear in movies.
You have a professional duty to watch it once and send a few emails congratulating your colleagues and others materially involved in the film on the release with specific details so it doesn't seem like a template you send to everyone. This is how you succeed in a world where maintaining relationships is important.
And musicians appear in their band
>why are actors such plebs
Actors, prostitutes, and comedians are all the same type of person and deserve the same level of respect
replace amber with depp for aquaman 2. Make it buddy comedy with Momoa&Depp
>I didn't go to films, I went to Looney Tunes
I can’t even look at photos of myself.
Has every actor in Hollywood gained 60lb during Covid?
Most of his films are shit.
unfortunately he won't win this. The courts are gynocentric with male victims like when the 13 year old girls held down and stripped an 11 year old boy naked and recorded it and put it on youtube a few years back and the judges let the girls off with no charges. Had boys done that to a girl they would be in prison for decades.
His best performance
