I love how they have minority muppets now instead of just having actual black people like Gordon on the show. For one, since they used to have real minorities come in to talk about race, the switch to muppets like the Asian-American muppet from a while ago makes me think audiences must've responded better to artificial minorities than to real ones. And in addition, it just compounds the idea that the people who do things like this don't see browns fully as people, they're funny little creatures made out of felt that we can all have a good laugh and smile with while they talk about how they just learned about shapes. Do they have white people muppets? I've never seen one.
