I honestly mostly pirate shit that I’ve already paid for. Like, I bought all these video games already when they launched, but now I have to pay for them again, but this time I don’t get a physical copy, AND you’re gonna install DRM software on my pc? Like, why? Is the assumption that I eould by more stuff if I pirated less? I would just have less stuff. Also, how many times do you need to make back the sales of those old movies and games? “BUT HOW WILL WE MAKE NEW MOVIES/GAMES IF YOU DONT PAY FOR OLD STUFF OVER AND OVER?!” Most new movies and games are terrible, so I’m not investing in new entertainment by paying for the same shit I already bought.

I don’t have a Netflix subscription I just watch off my brother’s which my dad unknowingly pays for.

The only Netflix shows I like and watch are Cobra Kai and Outer Banks.

Their movie selection is dogshit, so I don’t even bother looking at it and just pirate, the sole exception is if I have a girl over which isn’t often.

Their anime selection is small though does have probably the best normie friendly anime. Still I refuse to watch it because they changed shit like the vc’s and got rid of Fly Me to the Moon on Evangelion so I dont trust them and will only pirate anime in case they’ve made changes. I will put an exception for long running shounens though I rewatched Yu-Gi-Oh on Netflix and it was fun.

Oh also Avatar the Last Airbender. I rewatch that a lot when I get drunk.

Same here. My sisters share their account with me, despite this I have hardly watched anything. I watched one or two seasons of Armored Carbon? (I think that was the name) which I liked but then the MC was changed and Yea Forums went into a frenzy over it so I didn't bother to watch any further. I watch Peaky Blinders but I have yet to watch the last season. I watched some GitS movies which I liked very very much. I watch Ruroni Kenshin live action which I liked. I can't remember anything else. They have a lot of series but I just not a person to watch shit incessantly until I have consumed everything.

I download Netflix movies, import them to an external hard drive, and then copy and paste them until the hard drive is entirely filled up. Thousands, tens of thousands of dollars of lost income in a single storage unit.

Then I bury it in my backyard. I don't even watch them.

I only pay for Netflix to keep my family sated so I don't have to teach them how to pirate (and worry they'll mess it up).

Is this because of the energy price hikes in Europe? I think this makes sense because in the UK we started paying around £50 more per month after April 1st. The easiest way to respond to that for low income households is cancelling subscriptions.

I had Netflix when it was still compatible with the Nintendo Wii, then it got stupid, so I dropped it. I had free Netflix for a while on the Wii because I bought it from ebay and the family forgot to cancel or something, so I may have prevented them from watching certain things or at all for a couple weeks. I was nice and after that time I deleted their stuff (no personal stuff was on there) and then paid for it for a while.
