It's the "Framing Device For Whole Show Revealed in Finale" trope. It started with St. Elsewhere, so far as I know (whole show was dream of autistic kid). Newhart did it too (whole show was dream of Bob from his previous show where he was a psychiatrist).
ENT is a 24th century holonovel. Simple as

What episode of TNG is the Sneed's Seed and Feed scene in? I've watched the entire show twice and I have somehow missed it twice?
>Number One, why is there a number two in my ready room?
PRIME DIRECTIVE: /trek/ is the Star Trek GENERAL thread on Yea Forums. You may post about ANY official or fan-made Star Trek show, movie, or short film. If you aren't comfortable with a thread where people discuss the ENTIRETY of Star Trek then this GENERAL thread is not for you. Feel free to make your own specific-topic Star Trek thread instead. New thread creation at 310 posts.
GENERAL ORDER TWO: The television program known as "Enterprise" is an in-universe holonovel like Captain Proton or Photons Be Free. Feel free to discuss it, but be aware that it is a "show-within-a-show" and does not necessarily reflect "real" events within the Star Trek multiverse.
GENERAL ORDER THREE: If you suffer from a serious mental disorder such as paranoid schizophrenia or autism, please obtain your caregiver's permission prior to posting in /trek/.

Neelix is King
Have you ever noticed that this is a perfect indicator of a soon to be shit thread?

Why did they stop the french pub holoprogram
There's less fighting. I like a calm /trek/.
No one likes the french.
im ready for /trek/ to die, how about you?
We have to protect /trek/
/trek/ can never die.
It currently has cancer, but maybe it really is time for the cancer to have it's own general, as this thread proves.
Everything is fine
/trek/ will stand for 1000 more threads if we work together.
...
Here's to 20 years of threads
>a "good" /trek/ thread is just 3 people jerking off about /trek/
Yes.
SUCK IT!
This is a neelix thread.
Neelix threads are always based.

>And now, a word from our sponsors
>Onions bottles are great for buttplugs. I should know, I order an extra crate every week for that very purpose
This is a calm thread without sperging.
I the thread we listen to the jazz stylings of one William Riker.
Riker is the only TNG main character who doesn’t seem like a soulless Holodeck simulation who ceases to exist outside of the immediate crisis situation in the episodes. We see him cook, we see him drink, we see him playing cards, we see him trying to get laid. Autists hate Riker because he’s not a robot sperg with no hobbies like the rest of the cast.
Looks like he straining to poo
I want to see a movie like whiplash where Riker focuses on his Jazz career.
>Were you rushing or were you dragging?
OP of the other thread here.
I'm glad you guys are having fun here. Hopefully it won't get janny'd. I love peaceful /trek/.
James T Kirk was a nobody till some gorn threw a boulder at his head.
It's a pity Riker fell to the wayside to the point he might as well have been a background character as the show went on. When it was clear Stewart was on for the long haul, Riker no longer had a chance of succeeding Picard, which meant his arc became permanently stagnated, and the writers just could not figure out what to do with him anymore.
One wonders what might've happened if Stewart hadn't renewed his contract after Best of Both Worlds.
Hypocrite.
Enjoy mud wresting with shit slinging troons and namefags.
Over here it's just comfy trek times and funposting.
hehe dogy
We were getting tired of getting hustled out of all our ration credits by Mr. Pool Shark.
Just one game he says...
APPHROPRIATELY SINISTEAARRRH
>It's a porthos gets into the cheese an shits in T'pols catsuit drawer episode
Riker should have spun off into DS9
I like that they teased the insubordination routine over several episodes without hinting at the reveal.
Digits confirm.
>Riker returning in in Picard s3
>we don’t see him captaining his own ship we’re just gonna see him falling back into line and being Picard’s bitch again
When the FUCK are we going to win Rikerbros
>what a charming negress
A joke will liven things up.
>I believe I also reminded you of Newton's fourth law of thermodynamics.
>No good deed goes unpunished
Who the fuck wrote this line? It's actually infuriating how bad it is
Alex Kurtzman's second assistant adlibbed it and they went with it.
Newton didn't even come up with the laws of thermodynamics. Did Riker really say that?
Who knows but I liked the part where he sent his autistic daughter into the forest with a broken compass filled with poison rabbits.
Favorite moment of Picard.
My 2.5 inch external enclosure for the 4tb ssd I stole from work to put all my trek on just arrived.
look up a transcript. I watched this episode when it came out and one of the only things I remember is this fucking line
>Newton has three laws of motion
>If anyone has thermodynamics laws it would be Maxwell
>why the fuck would Riker say "No good deed goes unpunished" to anyone, let alone his former commanding officer
You just dont fucking get it do ya?
/trek/ does not understand friendship
Good boy
>The way I see it, all Cardie scum shall dangle from the elm tree. The Day of the Rope is near, Julian. We'll have every Cardie in this quadrant dead or in chains in 10 years, and may God have me die in a warp core breach this very night if I'm wrong. God bless the Federation.
That actually makes a lot of sense.
