Also it's based on a comic book with the same name. It's a great movie even if just for the effects, can't recommend enough.
It's from Black Kamen Rider? That show is amazing, also there will be a remake this year, called Kamen Rider Black Sun. If the heroe/main villain redesigns already looks like this, imagine the monsters.

Honestly that is a pretty scary jumpscare in that movie. The feeling is tense from the murder mystery plot, and then all of a sudden this giant bug just bursts into the main character's home. I really think Rodan 1956 is scarier than Godzilla 1954 in some ways.
