I thought Batman was all about the greater good and not giving no fucks. Yet 90% of the movie he's just simping hard for Catwoman. He also talks way too much and the movie had way too little action.

I didn't think it was bad but extremely mediocre. A genuine shame really, I think Paul Dano was a great Riddler. Black dude as Gordon was decent too. The rest of the cast was a complete dud for me. Hilariously long for no good reason either.

OP here and for the record I think pretty much all modern capeshit is godawful, marvel especially.
But this Batman movie was on a different level of awful, it was not only a shit adaptation but a shit movie in general really amateurishly failing at basic aspects of filmmaking, with absolutely horrendous pacing, failing at creating ANY kind of suspense

The camera work was good. The scene pacing and acting was beyond fucking cringe. That matt reeves guy is just a grifter. His goal wasn't to make a good movie, the whole time he was just trying not to fail.

Weakest point desu. There's alot of needless shit; It follows a tv format rather a movie. There's like 5 acts rather than 3 (intro, murders and investigation, doubt from main character for 10 minutes that ends in big reveal, big reveal ending and riddler bust that should end the movie, finale with riddle men)
