That was actually pretty nice. I'm glad the writing is about the same, though the length of the episode is so short now, maybe that prevents them from going full zombie mode. I hope the new movie is good too.
Yeah I tried rewatching it recently and it just got really repetitive after about 5-6 seasons. Very few original ideas or jokes.
the guy who voiced shake has grandkids now
he sounds a bit hoarse. the VA Carey Means has had financial trouble ever since the show was cancelled. the other actors are either producers (Malliero, Willis), or in the actors guild (Snyder) so they got royalties by default. Carey was a no name that signed on to a contract without know how well the show would take off.
imo it goes down hill right at the first intro change with a handful of good eps after that

Frylock sounds high af, and it's super weird to see ATHF in 1080p, but I do fucking miss it. That was a treat.

Totally disagree, last season is a bit weaker (besides the finale) but the comedy is top notch all the way to the end. Storage Zeebles is Season 10 and thats one of my favorites, Buddy Nugget and Shirt herpes are S9 and those are gold

I'm with you the show to me never felt like it got stale. I think it ended at the perfect time because it MAY have started to become stale.
