leaks suggest Gorr is going to slaughter some egyptian gods in the last episode to lead into Thor 4
You're mixing up leaks. None specified Egyptians, but they did name Zeus (ass seen in the trailer) and Bast was rumored to appear too. How pissed off will Twitter get if they outright murder Black Panther's goddess?
Moon bump
Khonshu cums in Thor’s salad
lets go, episode 4
I might just watch this. Is there a "genre" it fits or is it just "Marvel comedy show to build up a character for a movie, with some forced surface level drama"?
god, i wish
There's admittedly a very disturbed protagonist who has done bad shit. I don't know what you would classify it under though
I tough MCU's Gods weren't real gods but just aliens that people see as gods? What changed? I haven't watched anything MCU since 2016, except for NWH and Morbius
Only the White Gods are just alien fakers. Norse paganism? Fake bullshit. Brown people religion? 100% real, you dirty bigot. Same reason Wakanda is an ethno state and Asgard is modern day Detroit.
The Norse gods are aliens, but the Egyptian gods seem to be real gods.
They come off as advanced aliens who used to influence Egypt and then left after messing with them too much
Anyone else was expecting schizo kino but instead got generic show stuff?
They pretty much confirmed it'll be a self-contained thing and not bait for a movie or follow-up tv show. It's hard to explain - it's a fairly light-hearted action-adventure with hints at slightly edgier stuff (relative to the MCU). There's some quips/jokes but it's not an outright parody like e.g. the Waititi Thor movies.
Well we haven't officially seen anything with Bast so it's speculation but Khonshu (Egyptian god of the moon) and the other Ennead appear to be a league way above Thor. They're ethereal beings from the "Overvoid", and require mortal avatars to interact with our dimension. Khonshu turns back the celestial bodies 2000 years

What fucking Alien does this?
>Black Panther's goddess?
you mean ancient egypt goddess because wewuz
>They come off as advanced aliens
Not really.
I guess in the context of the wider MCU they'd be aliens with advanced tech which operates in a way that is virtually indistinguishable from magic, but they want to keep with the whole ancient Egypt vibe/aesthetic so they keep it feeling a bit mystical and won't dwell on explaining alien lore and shit.
>capeshit
I thought they were going to do more with the "Is this actually happening or not?" elements.
Bast is only loosely related to the Egyptian counterpart she's inspired from.
There's nothing scientific about what the fuck Khonshu did. He's more god than what the Asgardians ever where
There's an upcoming episode where Marc wakes up in a psyche ward, where Harrow is his doctor, and Layla is another patient
Some are like Asgardians but the Ennead and Bast are connected to the Elder Gods of Earth.
I think Layla is hot, don't @me
Sounds based. Fingers crossed.
Too bad the show is boring as hell.
There's nothing scientific about the Doctor Strange shit either, but the in-universe explanation is still that it's just a form of science which works in such a deep/unusual way that it can't be distinguished from magic.
I agree. I normally don't find these mysterymeat girls attractive but hoooo damn she is a PIECE.
There all gods you retard. The aliens meme was something they abandoned in phase 2. The Olympians, Baast, Asgardians, the moon knight gods. All in the same wheel house and love and thunder will make a point of it. Pay attention dumb nigger
GOOOAULD?
You know what I want to see in Thor 4? Khonshu showing up for 5 seconds to call Thor and Zeus fucking posers then laughing on his way out for them to deal with Gorr.
user that fucking "science" crap may fly with Thor, but when a bird headed deity moves stars, moons, and planets around like nothing we're well beyond that classification. You can't sit there and call Khonshu a space alien after that
>Gods are actually aliens
Mormonism is influencing the media.
Moonkino? More like moonshit.
>You gotta use your powers man
>Aaah nao oy'm a towtally convincing londonah and oiye un wanna use moiye powers, ol guvnah
Just fucking do it like we know you're going to by the end of the show. We've seen this shitty routine a million times now.
The hell are you talking about? Marc does use his powers frequently when needed. Steven is the pussy who doesn't know what he's doing.
>Zeus (ass seen in the trailer)
Damn we're gonna see Russell Crowe's ass in the movie?
SEE IT IN IMAX
2/3 of the show is Steven bickering about how he doesn't want to use the powers, when we all know he'll obviously end up using them without issue by the end of the show.
Episode 3 was 90 percent Marc
Sounds retarded and cringe, luckily you aren't in charge of shit
Moon knight Moon knight cant you see?
Criminals and shrinks need to hang from trees
Yep. Legion is still the best
They dwell in another realm and have great power. They're as aliens as Thor as they simply aren't from earth. Get over it. Gods are titles all of them share
>Moves the cosmos like it's nothing
>"""""ALIEN""""""
Sure pal.
Science and Magic are interchangeable in the MCU. In Doctor Strange the Ancient One compares it to altering the source code of reality or something along those lines purely to help Strange understand it better since he was still stuck in his scientific mindset at that point. And in Thor 2 Jane describes the Asgardians magic in scientific lingo but the reject that terminology because they like to sound mystical.
Khonshu design is kino of the highest order
I love her
You basically spent a long time to say "Don't think too hard, and it's okay to like the insane shit they can do without explanation". You sound like Lex Luthor coping with the idea of magical forces.
science and magic are the same damn thing.
unless it´s science confirmed by (((experts))) with no sources and dude trust me bro.
then it´s the jews.
kinda sad that no one gave a shit about the show after the first season
A lot of the Disney Plus MCU shows feel like they're trying to reach the heights that either Daredevil or Legion did depending on the project. So Loki, WandaVision and Moon Knight are definitely aiming more for Legion while Hawkeye and some of Moon Knight is going for Daredevil kind of. But they'll never get as gritty or weird as those shows because they don't want to alienate people.
I actually don't like when they try to make magic into science but in the MCU it just seems like the characters are describing it that way because they're talking to skeptics. I don't think the MCU as a whole views magic as advanced science. Especially with how Wanda has evolved and Doctor Strange, they seem to be embracing magic more now. I remember when they introduced Wanda they said her powers were telekinesis or some bs
Ep 1 of Moon Knight was great, but the rest have just been very 'meh'. Just feels very lazy, too many supporting characters stealing the limelight.
>"Don't think too hard, and it's okay to like the insane shit they can do without explanation".
Yes but unironically. It's capeshit. These are disparate stories written by different people with different interests and some business hack is trying to rope them all together as if they all make sense in the same cohesive world when they really don't and the power levels are totally fucked because each writer was just trying to tell a story and not fit their own lore into every other piece of Marvel media ever created.
You can tell it has less of a budget so that holds it back. And the guy who wrote the first episode only did that one and the finale so everything in between being not as good is down to them having a different team for some reason.
that fight with the poos in episode 3 was really bad
Anything that isn't from earth is an alien you retard. God is just a title/classification for the more powerful ones that aren't "mortal"
norse gods are the ancestors of white people, faggot. this is the muttification of culture by kike hands
Oscar Issac only signed on for these 6 episodes. This series is very much a pilot to see if Moon Knight is worth investing in further
The MCU was never planned out that well, it's not much better than the Star Wars sequels in that regard. They just got lucky in some areas and left things vague enough that they can pursue different options from movie to movie. People really shouldn't think hard about it at all because they do make it up more or less as they go along and react in response to the reception of each instalment. The only thing they really had planned was that if they got that far, Thanos would be the main antagonist of the Avengers sequels and the infinity stones would be relevant, everything else was in flux.
>I'm going to lean hard into a technicality just to prove I'm right.
Yes and anyone not from your native nation is an "alien" by definition. What I'm trying to tell you is that Khonshu and the Ennead here are not the fake ass god space aliens Asgardians pose themselves as
Actually, the mirror world can be seen as the subspace, there was a scientist that was cucked by a dolphin that tried to develop an astral projection tank, the other dimensions are definitely linked to Quantum theory.
