Been rewatching the show recently and I'm up to S7 so far. Kinda sad that they completely forgot about ms. Lemon after season 5 or so.

Agreed, but Miss Lemon, Hastings, and Japp are in some of the books and stories but not all. They were super faithful to the originals when they made the Suchet series. They mostly made the ones that have the whole crew first, but the whole gang shows up a few more times after the earlier seasons.
