Comfiest movie in two decades

Is that sarcasm or ?

feet

Hardly a movie more like an old man's rambling

Not quite but it is a type of nostalgic assessment in the same way that The Irishman is: both are meta, both go back to the directors' formative years etc. Tarantino chose a dreamy fairy tale ending whereas Scorsese went for a wry, cautionary one.

No, i literally did not see this film until tonight.

I liked it too

legitimately one of the boringest movies i've ever seen

>The Irishman
Maybe the worst movie ever with so much "talent" involved. Spectacularly awful.

waste of perfectly good film as with all Tarantino movies

way too much just driving around listening to the radio
I get it was a love letter to the late 60s Hollywood, but it would be good if the movie had a plot as well

lost potemtial, shouldve focused on the ranch not some loudmouth drunkard that wants to force a meme with his cringe over the top reactions

>boringest
I think it might have been beyond your capacity for understanding. Maybe try Teletubbies or Barney. You’ll get there one day champ.

I have only ever stopped watching a film twice in my life and this was one of those times

op i felt the same way. dont listen to the tryhard midwits that infect this board now.

Fuck off, its evil trash. You're a bad person for liking this filth.

I’m just sad that the Manson Family didn’t actually meet such an end.

wait. You don't like people drinking in cars listening to music while smoking cigarettes?! I was gonna start a podcast like that!

Attached: xmas07-2.jpg (551x350, 33.31K)

its pretty comfy
dicaprio showed off his acting
brad kicking bruce lees ass was pretty funny
and the ending was kino of the highest order

but the fucking thing is so long, i dread the thought of rewatching it

It wouldn't have really made a difference If it happened just like in the movie, because all they would have done would be stopping 1 set of killings. There were actually 4 sets of killings that occurred within a few days that the manson family committed: the tate house killings, the la bianca house killings, as well as the individual murders of Hinman and Shae. There were more murders they were suspected of, but never convicted.

So...in tarentino's dream world, as long as the tates didn't get killed, and hollywood is safe and sound, then everything is ok.

i love this movie

grrr movie make user angry, no enjoy user movie. no enjoy rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

For what its worth, if this group of Manson family members had gotten decimated that badly, it would have served as a chilling effect for the entire family.

I like the book better than the movie but I wouldn't have liked the book as much as I did if not for the movie.

Not really, because the family was huge, insane, and fucked up on drugs. It might have made them worse, and a lot of the murders took place before the tates.

I agree. It’s great.
>but nothing happens!
That’s why I like it so much. I’ve seen it at least 8 times since it was in theaters, and it’s like a new film every time because I can’t ever remember what happens, in which order. Kino, and infinitely rewatchable,

I’m literally watching Leo fucking up his lines right now

kino

What is evil about it fagit?

Yeah, amazing movie OP, definitely one of the best in recent years

>Leo
He blew me away in this one boys. I finally saw his greatness.

Agreed friend
The book was great. Got a lot more of Caleb on set, a lot more history, and dropped that ending which I think worked for a movie but was best to drop for a book

How do I pull of this look bros?

Attached: cliff.jpg (720x864, 81.93K)

Is this the 9th film from Tarantino?

Well, you get a spark plug t-shirt, hawaiin shirt, jeans and a cowboy belt.

with that hair and face you can pretty much pull off any look

>nothing happens for 3 hours: the movie
Boring, gay, tarantino shill, footfag

The best part of the movie was the pitbull tearing apart hippies without mercy. For some reason, it was so satisfying to watch. Did you like the part when Booth smashes the redheads skull against the bricks? Or when the other chick burned alive? Both were just sooooo satisfying.

I'd never watch a second of this trash.

masterpiece

>Comfiest movie in two decades
agreed his best since pulp

you don't

Pulp is overated cringe that aged poorly this is his best since Jackie Brown.

fuckin phenomenal film

>jackie brown
thanks for the upvotes good sir

Low-test

just puked in my mouth

it's very easy. aviators, jeans, white logo t shirt, unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt. I wear it all the time in the summer and get tons of compliments

You were unironically filtered on several levels.

What little hairy joosh girls not doin it for you, satan?

Honestly, so many of the actors just flourished in this movie. Even bit-parters like Tim Olyphant, Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen and Damon Herriman as Chuck Manson.
First time I watched it I wasn’t impressed but every time since I see little glimpses of masterful acting that is subtle enough to only be detectable with a careful eye.
Absolutely one of QT’s best and possibly the best pleb filter since Solaris.

his best was death proof but you niggas ain't prepared for that

Glad to see somebody else enjoys it. It's my favorite Tarantino film. Also I think it has DiCaprio's best performance

Wup

I hope he writes another one. I would read it even if it wasn't connected to a movie.

This film embodies the friendship = kinship paradigm that has nearly gone extinct.

Don't forget the moccasins.

Ok here it is:

Pulp Fiction>Once Upon a Time>Jackie Brown>>Death Proof>>Kill Bills>>Reservoir Dogs>>>>>Inglourious Basterds>H8>Django.

>Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen
That was the worst part of movie

Not his best but it doesn't deserve the hate it gets.

agreed

Self masturbatory dribble

I don't even see the resemblance really, I always thought Daniel Craig looked more like Steve McQueen.
