This show had some dark shit in it. I remember there was a little girl who had a dead dog with a fucking tiretrack over it and X's for eyes. There was also a running joke where the bully kid who was always saying "Scradley" was always correcting people who said she was his sister by reminding them she was only his half-sister.

This era feels like an entirely different universe. I want my life back.

Yeah, looking back on it this was one of the appeals of shows like Hey Arnold! or Ed, Edd, and Eddy, where the kids lived in a hood that was clearly not the greatest while not being an outright ghetto. I felt like they were a lot more relatable as a kid, but shows like Fairly Odd Parents or Jimmy Neutron which take place in some idyllic upper-middle class suburb just felt fake and ghey to me.
