It would have been too much for one season. All season one was trying to do was to introduce the audience to this world and these characters in it and show us who most of the players on the board are, and in that sense I think it was a success. I think if they’d tried to fit in any more about her like if she’s working with other people or her motivations for doing this etc etc it would have had to have been so abbreviated as to feel very unsatisfying, and would have meant cutting out other parts of the show we did see. Not to mention that many people would still be sitting here complaining they didn’t go further than they did.
