Waco

How accurate is this show? The whole thing is very sympathetic towards the Branch Davidians and suggests they really didn't do much wrong. The FBI are also depicted as faking the evidence/their story and generally covering things up. Is there any evidence the Branch Davidians started the fires other than the government not wanting to admit they could have done it by accident? Is this show just cashing in on current anti government/police sentiment in the US? Or is there no clear evidence of anything, just both sides saying the other is lying?

I grew up in Waco, TX. Good little town. Boring as shit. Haven't been back in twenty years. A lot has probably changed.
And this show sucks ass.

>And this show sucks ass.
in what sense? that it's all lies?

the show does a good job of seemingly going against the three letter clubs while downplaying their actions. for example the desperate feds trying to save trapped people, or failing to show them posing with the burnt building and corpses (which would probably have gotten the show criticised for portraying cartoonishly evil government agents)

like any good fuckup, it usually involves both sides being retarded. from what i've learned, the davidians were a little crazy and the ATF was trying hard to flex their authority. put both together and you get trouble.

The Branch Davidian folks were morons, and sympathy for them is boring. I hated when this shit was all Waco was known for, and the fact that it portrays these crazies as sympathetic is shitty.

>user, you can stay on my board, but you have to let me fuck your waifu
>it's not for my enjoyment

Just because they were morons does not mean they were in the wrong

maybe they were crazy, but that doesn't give the government an excuse to do what they did as is portrayed in the show, which is what I'm trying to get to the bottom of.

>I hated when this shit was all Waco was known for
Every single day between Feb 28 1993 and April 14 2022? Because it's still all your home town is known for
