The audience score is fake, it has been sitting at that percentage ever since the movie came out, without changing a single digit even directly after the release

They don't. They froze the score at 86% once they saw it was dropping quickly after release. It has stayed at 86% even after thousands of votes. I'm not even joking.

Because most people are pic related. They form opinions prior to watching stuff and most things are enjoyable to them unless they are "boring". They only really jump on loving or hating a film depending on peer pressure.

The Disney trilogy could've been tolerable or even good had they stuck with one path and not go down separate paths each film, and that was the main problem about the Sequel trilogy. Slasher, Christmas and Disaster movies all took the Popcorn Pill years ago. Serious, overly deep and autistic “cinematic masterpieces” are overrated. You have to waste 3 hours on watching it, the characters are boring and le 2Deep4U and everything in the end becomes the author’s opinion on something that he could have just wrote in an hour rather than making a whole satire production. It’s boring and honestly no one cares.

Make it fun, make it enjoyable and chill out. No one likes pretentious tryhards in real life, so why would they watch a movie created by one?

most people on twitter and meme sites such as rotten tomatoes are not reviewing the movies in first hand but rather think that they are taking part in some sort of culture war. they are not reviewing it as bad or good but rather they have identified bad or good as being pro or anti globohomo tranny feminism BLM and are expressing their support or disdain for that.

The media you consume is like a diet and there is nothing wrong with having a takeaway every so often but if you just eat McDonalds all the time you'll get fat. Most people can't tell the difference between enjoyment and critical analysis. They automatically enjoy most things regardless of quality. There is nothing wrong with liking a so bad it's good movie; there is nothing wrong with watching some explosions or whatever. But I hate this pathetic dichotomy that movies are either dumb blockbusters or pretentious art pieces. There is a whole range of stuff to watch out there and sometimes it is great to get out of your comfort zone. In these shitty times people like escapism but sometimes it is too much and what they call guilty pleasures are no longer "guilty".
