Love scenes like that, plays up the most extreme social situations imaginable and everyone's reactions are hilarious. Like I am sure most people have had experiences like that but it plays them out with a bunch of mob psychopaths.

Most of the actors are good. They probably couldn't work in other roles but for the sopranos most of the actors performances feel pretty genuine, if that makes sense.

silvio works. I can't really explain it. Like, somehow i'm able to imagine that the character isn't the real life actor but he is acting in the show because he really cares about appearances and he's not as tough like the other guys so he thinks he has to appear that way to seem more like a "mobster". It works especially in the scenes where he's not all dressed up around the guys and he seems to be acting more "natural"

I can see that. It's just jarring when he fidgets too much even in complete privacy but that could possibly just be him "rehearsing" and going through the motions in his head.

They all worked pretty well and you could chalk up the weaker performances to them being fucking deranged psychopaths like Paulie for example. Although I will say AJ/Meadow/Bobby were pretty awful at times
