I actually just watched/read kizumonogatari recently. I like the series because of the relationship between the mc and the vampire girl. I don't know if you've actually watched the series or you did and hate it regardless but this just seems like a surface level observation from you. You can say the characters and story are shit to you but they're definitely there and have things about them that could be considered interesting or relatable. The feeling the story conveys to me is ''tenderly flawed''. Not the story itself, but the characters in it. It's very adolescent but in a naive and clean way even with the overexaggerated sexualization, which itself is very adolescent. It's like the transition of childish innocence towards the crude adulthood, which to me that's the representation of the oddities, an emotional transition of maturity that is externalized and overexaggerated into the world. Like a cognitive overcompensation, a lie that is closer to the truth than even the more rationalist truth. To me it's very inspiring exactly because of that crafted genuinity that isn't necessarily wholesome or positive, but simply true to itself. In relation with adolescence, that's one of the basis for the development of a healthy identity, even if wrongly. Overall, a mixture of tender nostalgia with the inherent potential of the identity of youth. Fun and beautiful.
