What's your favorite episode?
The X-Files
I couldn't get into x-files even after 4 attempts. I just fucking hate scully so much
MUBLER
when mulder is in the red speedo
i've never even seen it but i post about how much i love it all the time and sometimes make threads like i've seen it countless times
Quagmire
Have sex.
That one episode where they both tell their side of the story, and episodes like that are great imho.
Also that intro with the vampire kid is some good shit.
when Krychek gets his arm cut off in Russia
with Gillian!
this
>when mulder calls krychek a stupid ass haircut
Would eat her ass daily.
>Jose Chung's From Outer Space
>Post-Modern Prometheus
>Bad Blood
>X-Cops
>Detour
all great episodes
honestly i love the episode in season 10 where the monster got bit by a human, and what ensues is a parody of turning into an NPC
Mythology > MOTW
Fite me.
>her
If Mytharc actually ever went anywhere I would agree, some of the best episodes are Mytharc episodes. But knowing how the show "ends" it's pointless to get invested in the overarching story.
this. it fucks me off that they never had a definitive end and just kept making shit up.
we need another season that finishes it
Yeah it didn't end well but the way it started left a lot to the imagination and was must see TV. Those early mythology episodes scratched everyone's conspiracy itch. The monster of the week episodes was just repetitive. It was the same episode everytime just insert new monster. On every rewatch I skip half the motw episodes because they're all the same.
>mulder hears about killing
> already has it figured out the first 5 minutes because it matches a series of other killings in the xfiles
>scully has a completely different wrong theory
>they go to town
>local cop or contact is sketchy
>close in on monster
>mulder or scully gets into trouble and the other one save them
>defeat monster
>scully somehow didn't see anything and doubts what happened
>episode ends with monster possibly not being dead
Killswitch
triangle, the procedural type ones are torture on my ADD.
The boring monster episodes were just long term setup for the meta episodes.
Pusher
Such a great episode
Bump.
What the fuck were they thinking?
I don't remember this part of Mad Dog McCree
dogshit episode
Agreed. It was totally unnecessary to bring Ronin back
fucking hilarious episode
>Mulder's version of Luke Wilson with the horrible teeth
>coroner Brent Butt gets attacked by vampire kid
>SHAFT!
Theef
F A G G O T A L E R T
You're a tranny and she's making you feel insecure.
Some of my favorite monster of the week episodes in order of release.
> S1_E15 - Darkness Falls (killer glowing bugs)
> S2_E15 - Fresh Bones (voodoo in detention camp)
> S3_E14 - Grotesque (red foreman & gargoyle serial killer)
> S3_E22 - Quagmire (lake monster)
> S5_E4 - Detour (chameleon dudes in woods)
> S5_E11 - Kill Switch (computer virus & sexy hacker chick)
> S6_E13 - Agua Mala (tentacles in hurricane)
> S9_E8 - Hellbound (people being skinned)
> S10_E4 - Home Again (band aid man)
For the record I am actually a big fan of the mythology episodes which a lot of people aren't sadly. I am not a fan of the overtly comedic episodes other than the fun Roaches ep.
I was wandering through the grocery store saying "poppin corn" to myself the other day. Theef guy says such creepy shit
Ah, yes
Good thread, always nice to see some X-Files appreciation.
Aside from the aforementioned episodes here are some of my faves.
>S4E10 - Paper Hearts
Serial child killer claims that Mulder's sister was one of his victims
>S5E19 - Folie a Deux
Office boss is actually a huge bug that sucks people's brains out
>S6E3 - Triangle
Mulder is transported in time inside Bermuda Triangle
>S6E4-E5 - Dreamland I & II
Mulder and Area 51 glowie change bodies
>S6E15 - Arcadia
Mulder and Scully go undercover as a couple in a rich neighbourhood where killings start
>S6E21 - Field Trip
Mushroom trip episode (legit disturbed me more than Home)
>S7E12 - X-Cops
Cops crossover
>S7E19 - Hollywood A.D.
Meta episode about X-Files movie adaptation
>Folie a Deux
One of my favorites too. Loved the monster effects.
Is that the one with Jesse Ventura as the Gman?
All time best non-Mulder episode is Via Negativa.
Conversation on the Rock is one of the greats.
Folie a Deux

How's the sex change going?
How The Ghosts Stole Christmas
>S6E4-E5 - Dreamland I & II
>Mulder and Area 51 glowie change bodies
Worst 2 parter in all of X-Files, and among the worst episodes in toto. Kys: you'r either a stone cold tranny, or you have spend so much time tranny-larping that you've absorbed tranny-think by osmosis. Either way, it's time to end it.
Arcadia
Kino choices.
Paper hearts is my all time favourite episode.
Any motw where the science is stretched instead of broken are in my list personally.
>two jew ghosts try to get people to kill themselves on Christmas
I didn't know Raimi guest directed
Monday
Field Trip
Familiar
Take your meds schizo
Beyond the Sea
>How's the sex change going?
I'm sure you're about to give insight on that since you refuse to shut the fuck up about your sick fetish.
Is that the one with brad douriff? Kino.
Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose or Beyond the Sea.
>Woman! Make me a sandwich!
The ones where scully acts jealous and/or clingy, I can't remember the episode names precisely
One was about roaches and the other one involved a couple of teen girls living in a small town who had paranormal powers
>TFW no scully gf
It's not fair bros
the scientist girl in the roach episode was an absolute beauty
