ATHF got 2 endings and they're both fine. If Venture Brothers was going to end the way they wanted it should have had more than 7 seasons in 14 years. Metalocalypse deserves it most.

Doomstar Requiem would have been the best way to end Metalocalypse but they threw in a sequel hook ans tainted it

People that talk about how great Doomstar Requiem was evidently forgot that half of it is dumb non-metal pop songs because they ran out of money.

Mergers usually wind up looking a lot more like takeovers and buyouts, once all the paperwork is settled. All that has to happen is the right department head being let go, to kill things like this.

you don't need to know most of the references to find it funny but knowing said references definitely makes it funnier. The way references are woven into dialogue makes it easier to dismiss if you didn't get it, it's not like the show is throwing references out and have the show pause for you to laugh.

first 2 seasons are god tier then doc went all epic narrative blah blah blah and show got pretty meh, but still good writing. im convinced its just oldfags who think muh refrences are top tier comedy that genuinely thought anything after season 2 was great

Out of the 3 I’m sure the ATHF was closest to being finished, especially if they used revived plot lines from the cancelled Death Fighter film. Fingers crossed we get all of them still though.

Season 2 and 4 are the best seasons, season 7 was really funny and felt more like a return to form rather than a lorefest like 5 and especially 6 were. Best jokes in the series aren't even the references, it's the dick jokes. Venture Bros has the best dick jokes out of any show and it's kino.
