They decided to do a movie that isn't a sequel of their previous work
creative old guard is replaced with a new generation with no talent. many such cases -- sad!
So, every movie needs the same message?
The answer is literally cheap universal animation programming. You wonder why this new shit looks like a Grubhub commercial and that’s your answer. In order to produce more movies per annum they use soulless programs
It's more like be yourself, think indepdenently. There are already Pixar movies with a similar message, such as Finding Nemo.
>2014 was 8 years ago
>the message is about finding yourself
>the story is about a preteen girl who turns into a giant red panda
…it’s about puberty
Pixar in 1995: DUDE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP LMAO
Pixar in 2022: It's better to accept and find acceptance for feelings of yourself and others rather than shape everything into an unrealistic worldview.
When did they become so based?
Stories became made for women. Which are all about not learning, or trying to be better, but that the world needs to accept you.
Reddit screencaps should be bannable.
It's about teenage rebellion. Yes, it's related to puberty.
Nooo why can’t pixar keep making the same movies. I’m not going to watch this
Pixar truly died when Disney bought them which strangely coincides with the death of Joe Ranft who was vehemently against the acquisition and also kept Lasseter’s ego in check. Films like Ratatouille, Up, and WALL-E were conceived and worked on BEFORE Disney bought them. Disney pulled Lasseter and Catmull away from the company and had them oversee ALL Disney animated films instead of just Pixar which ultimately hurt the brand and the power corrupted Lasseter. Simple as that.
…it is the same animation as the commercials and I can’t unsee this. When did Pixar get so lazy?
Based knower
>jealousy AND envy
kek social media is full of midwits and genuine retards
You have to go back
there's nothing based about women having ideas
>r*ddit screencap
>1995
>what if your cherished childhood toys were alive and loved you and had their own stories and relationships
>2022
>what if 13 year olds turned into monsters when they get emotional you know like periods also they twerk
>1995
>what if my funko pops talked with each other?
>2022
>let's make a movie for young girls to actually relate to, so they dont have to feel alone with their complex feelings and they will know things will be alright
You mean jews. Who then peddled a message to the most easily manipulated demographic that can still be treated like children and will eat this kinda shit up.
Those words mean different things esl fren.
Long march through the institutions
girls don't have complex feelings they're sociopathic beasts
Only ugly girls watch movies
females aren't real
The real problem isn't so much as the subject matter of Pixar's new film; it's ultimately that it feels pandering, generic, and try-hard.
Old Pixar wasn't so try-hard until they made Cars and when Disney flat-out bought them.
you can't just compare the themes to each other to explain why one movie sucks and one doesn't
This.
The two cunts behind that fucking movie got promoted to "leadership" positions, guaranteeing Pixar's death spiral. Only in Hollywood can you fail upwards.
>BE DIFFERENT
Did that person watch the movie? It's about the most conformist consoomer teen "rebel" ever, her goal is literally to spend 800$ to go to a fucking boys band concert.
>you can't just compare the themes to each other to explain why one movie sucks and one doesn't
Well you shouldn't because a movie's quality isn't dependent on whether you agree with it or not. Doing it disingenuously like the OP is also not very interesting. A more interesting comparison would be something like A Goofy Movie with similar themes as Turning Red's but better executed.
We need to hook up walt's body to a turbine since he's been rolling infinitely since, like, 1970
It's not the job of movies and television to instill values in children, it's the parents' job.
there's a dark subtext about normalizing sex work for teenage girls.
less is more, retard
>What happened to Pixar?
Only makes cartoons for 30 year old Redditors now
I guess they are making a statement about the duality of man
I don't think any 30 year old man feels like he's the target demo for this one. Soul, sure.
>a movie about women reaching their period and making themselves an onlyfans while their friends pimp them for their own benefits
>also, abandon tradition because parents are dumb and boring lmao
How does it feel to be a retard and a whore? Or like I like to say, an average white woman?
Ugly, post wall women getting into positions of power and men shrugging their shoulders and disregarding it all as "kid shit" and letting them do whatever without looking at it critically.
I'm the Mickey on bottom right
>abandon tradition
She still works at the temple at the end of the movie.
>man
It's the story about a non-white girl having her period and slowly going through camwhoring as a means to find herself.
It's 100% made for 30 year old roasties.
Except Toy Story was actually made by Jews whereas Turning Red was made by asians/women
Toy Story director was jewish (Lasseter) whereas Turning Red's director (Domee Shi) is asian
>le I'm an epic racist too shill
Bugs follow the kike agenda to a T. Also racial nepotism was encouraged for this movie
> Domee was looking for another writer and I think she wanted a woman with an Asian background, so there was this convergence
It has the kike agenda plastered all over it. You're fooling no one trying to make us judge the cover and not the content.
But encourage more twisted and pedo underlining themes in kids movies, faggot groomer.
>be different***
>***exactly the same as every other leftist consoomer
Let me explain why nu pixar is lazy and bad. Movie should have story and a theme. They are connected but theme itself shouldnt be a story.
Theme of toy story is jealousy but story is about toys.
In Nu pixar we have
>what if our feelings were personalised.
>what if souls were personalised.
>what if puberty changes you into a big monster
They dont create good stories and add themes to them. They pick lazy theme and create movie about it.
We wouldnt get toy story today
We would get movie about green monster with huge sign "jealousy" on his chest
what are we sitting on here?
But toy story is still great (except for that 4th one which is more run away defy norms be different garbage)
